Sure is a nice truck, just could use some TLC in the rough spots. I sure wouldn't mind buying that truck if I could, I plan on buying a Peter 379 in the future but I don't mind the Classic XL's they're good trucks.

Man that is such a nice truck I hate to see you have to let it go. You put a lot of hard work and money into this this truck. I wish you could just find a really good driver to put in it and drive it so you can keep it in the family. But I understand you have to do what you got to do. I wish I could buy it from you but I damaged my knee so I'm out of work for a while which really sucks. Whoever buys the truck is getting a really good OTR truck. Hope everything is going well with the pregnancy & I hope you and your family had a good weekend. Take it easy buddy🤙.

I have a 2005 14liter and did a rebuild out of frame on it at dealer and also had a 07 14liter in a columbia and did aa inframe on that one. Both have a boat load of blow by right after the builds. Part of the problem is the tolerances on the parts that are made in china. The other is factory allowed them to breath when they designed them. If you look the specs up in the repair manuals for blow by, you will find they allow all the way to 5 blow by. They have a tool they insert into the oil dipstick and then run the truck on the dyno. It will measure the blow by. Blow by is a problem when your parked and can see it the pressure fluctuate as you raise the idle and lower the idle. But if its constant, its normal on Detroit's. These old 60series like to breath heavy.

Badass truck bro, yea mine has blowby with 10k on rebuild Detroit’s just seem to have it always nothing out of ordinary. I’ll find myself on same paths someday goal is to get myself into a w9 also! Best of luck selling, post it in fb classic group
