That's a lovely '66 Plymouth! I remember seeing quite a few of these when I was a child. Then, as the years went by, they slowly disappeared from the roads, sitting in junkyards and then later crushed. That is a rare sight today. I love those lines. That roof design is so attractive. Those stacked headlamps are nice looking too. I would love to take a drive in that car! Hand me the keys!

The 65 and 66 Furys were two of the prettiest cars ever.

My family had a '66 Fury II with 318 V8 and Torqueflight automatic. It was a nice family car. It was silver colored with a light blue vinyl interior. Bench seats and smooth ride.

Love this car. I remember test driving a 1966 PLYMOUTH VIP with the COLDEST A/C of Any car I have owned and I have had 100’s of cars. The front middle vents would frost up and drip condensation. I was impressed at the whole look of this car.

My older brother had one of these same color, back in 1970, too bad it doesn't have the original antenna. 🇵🇹🇺🇸

We had the same exact car except ours had a black vinyl top.... reliable powerful and nice to look at ... great car + the famous Chrysler Corp 5 yr 50,000 mile warranty which was big in those days.

My first car was a 66 Fury II sedan. 318 V8 and automatic transmission, inherited from my grandparents in 86. I loved that car...it floated down the road so smoothly. It wasn't terribly fast, but it sure FELT fast!

This was when America made great looking cars, not these re-badged Euro grot boxes you see now (with a FEW exceptions)

Everything Chrysler built in 1966 had superior styling! They lost it in 1967.

The ONLY car my parents ever bought “new” in 1966! (didn’t get the 383 though) What did she go for? (approx)

The 66 Sport Fury was a good looking car but I did prefer the styling of the 67 and 68 models. The seats in this 66 are vinyl not leather. A leather and cloth bench seat was optional on the 67 thru 69 Plymouth VIPs. The 67 Fury measured 213" long compared to the 66 length of 209.8" long. Otherwise both model years had the same width and 119" wheelbase.

No leather seats. They are vinyl if original. 😊

I was born in 1961 my dad had a 1962 which of course I don't remember but he got a 1966 just like this one except the interior was red dad said back in the day that depending on which half of the year of car was built for example that his 1962 was actually called a 1962 and a half anyone ever heard that? He said it came with the 4:40 and the four speed I don't remember anything about a c being mentioned on the 62. By when he ain't got the 66 I was 5 years old and he kept it quite a few years after so I remember a lot I believe the 66 is the only year that they had the single life extended to the end of the hood correct me if I'm wrong. What can cause it had to 383 and the other night but she would run and dad taught me how to remove and put on the fender skirts which he very seldom had the fender skirts on the car and man if no one has seen a 66 without the fender skirts remove it is like it goes from sleek and sweet with the skirt song to fast and mean with them off. Does anyone know how much this car sold for? Great video.
