Now employee has joined j but after demerger has to go away from J which is a branded company. Can employee claim to be a part of j or have to leave j and be a part of S only? The 3 biggest problems with solar installation which I feel are: 1. If you do not own a house and live in flat you can not be a part of this. 3. If you have your own 2 storied house, you install a solar grid and later on a multi-storey building project comes near your house which shadows your house during major daytime then your entire investment goes for a toss. 3. In case of natural calamities and monsoon strong winds carry small and tiny pebbles which damage the solar panel.

Didi has made it so much complicated, 😊 but it's part of her job to earn more customers. There are not too many types of panels, inverters or mountings. So users should not be made afraid of such undue complications. Host is requested to do same interview with a technician sitting in local market how he installs solar panel systems and it's routine maintenance etc... I'm sure he would ease out the topic and video won't be so lengthy as well.

Thanks LLA for this great video! Inspired by this, I reached out to Solar Square for consultation. Somebody from Solar Square called me and after learning that my monthly bill is only about 1500 per month, they are NOT interested in providing the services. I was not sure if Solar Square provides services to only rich customers and if so, they must clearly declare that on their website. This will avoid unnecessary hassle for poor customers such as myself!
@dheerajyadav4736
Жыл бұрын
if your monthly bill is 1500 rs then u should not install solar system because it'll cost u more (not know exact amount) even after subsidy. And if u invest that amount somewhere else maybe u can get more returns yearly than this system. So from my point of view if your monthly electricity consumption is more than 2k than u should go for it or if you wants to install off-grid system to avoid power failure then u can go for it
@solarsquareenergy2936

Hello Ajay, Sorry to hear that you felt this way. We provide solar systems for customers with bill above 1500 Rs. per month because its makes economic sense for consumers to buy systems of min. 2-3 kW in size. Below that the over heads and cost of solar is too high and leads to higher breakeven times. Hence, we recommend that customers with bills greater than 1500 Rs. buy solar for best benefits.

22:17: IRR (internal rate of return): It shouldn’t be used to compare IRR of two mutually exclusive projects. Now, how “poly” and “mono” could be mutually exclusive projects - both produce electricity? The difference lies in the subsidy. Subsidy is available only on “Poly”. Poly’s efficiency keep decreasing with rate 0.7% per year but over 25 years, the panel loses 25% of its capacity (thanks to compound degradation) - and she says “Only 0.7% per year”. Was that a joke or sarcasm on her end? Am I that stupid to not even understand concept of compound interest? Now, add inflation on top of that - its already rising on average 6-10% per year (again compounding). While making investment decision, IRR is highly discouraged metric by academics but corporate managers prefer this because it fits in their tiny minds. The highly recommended metric to choose between two mutually executive projects is instead “NPV” (Net Present Value). In cases where one project has a higher initial investment than a second mutually exclusive project, the first project may have a lower IRR (expected return), but a higher NPV (increase in shareholders' wealth) and should thus be accepted over the second project (assuming no capital constraints). She is not being completely honest. Learn from her but don’t believe her when the topic of sales comes - that’s her bread, butter and knife. Choose “Mono” Panel.

Too good, excellent interview. Almost all points coved with clearly. Thanks for making this video.
Multiple loopholes in calculation of economics in the end. 1. You didn't consider AMC and other maintenance charges in calculation 2. Some states charge fixed amount of fees per KW of solar plant capacity monthly, say 110rs in Maharashtra, so if you calculate cost opportunity, say 110rs monthly SIP with same 3% annual step up, and assuming 15% returns for 25 years, you will have 3.7lakh rs of savings 3. Opportunity cost of investing 2.5lakh upfront in equities, Invest those 2.5Lakhs today for 25years, assuming 15% returns, you will get whopping ₹1,03,86,030.05. 4. Was 0.7% degradation considered simple/liner or compound? 5. Plus one major and most important point, this will only work if you live at same house for 25 years, lets say if you moved out and that place is vacant you will send all the electricity to grid where it will accumulate balance units for you but only for year, after that it will lapse and hence no savings / returns that year 6. Also in the end video shows solar system saves 19lakh, but if you adjust it for inflation after 25 years it would just have 2x value of initial investment of 2.5 lakhs

Shreyas to ans your queries- 1.Solar AMC or maintenance is close to negligible. It's like maintaining your garden. You just have to keep the panels clean once in a month.. For a 5kw system it will take you hardly 30mins max to clean and that too once a month. 2. There is fixed charges in your bill which no matter what will be there.. They are grid maintenance charges that you have to pay.. In Maharashtra that's is 110rs for single phase and around 330 for 3ph. 3. Any equity or capital expenditure that you put in will return as savings in max 4 years if your state permits for net metering, not considering the tax benefit. 4. It's a straight degradation like any equipment, so after 20 years of usage the efficiency should be around 80% if you use quality panels. 5. You can move the system if you move out of ur house, you just have to pay the liasioning charges and re-installation charges. Solar is indeed beautiful, it's like you have your own personal power plant with you. Consider it as an asset which will give you fixed returns. And last you are giving back something to your environment which cannot be measured as an return to investment. Gosolar Gogreen Goforepoint www.forepoint.in

@@abhaySingh-ly8mo 1. But video did mention it has to be done by the vendor, atleast some parts of it, like say after few years you may have mechanical maintainance or electrical maintenance in form of new inverter after say 8-10 years 2. About fixed charges, if you analyse cost opportunity, say put 110 rs in step up sip of 3% increase yearly (as assumed in video for unit price increase) and assume returns to be at 15% for 25 years, you would get around 3.7 Lakh, so now effective returns from solar plant drop by around 15% that's substantial 3. You didn't get my 3rd point, if you invest 2.5lakh today, for 25 years you will have more than whopping 1 CR 5. Yeah right then there will be extra expenditure for the relocation of the plant which again has to he taken into account

Best video to understand everything about the solar system installation ❤
Very good dude n miss ... Loved d presentation. Something different..
Very informative I used to use solar system around 9 years back in Delhi but it was complex so we removed it. With this video, many of the things cleared. Thank you for creating this video.

They did not add the cost of monthly charges and AMC so if you see it is very expensive and even if using on grid it is not green and you also suffer power outage

Excellently moderated , clear information. Great work.
Perfect questions in sequence 👍 great Job😊 Thank you for the information. And making things clear
Awesome video. My questions - 1. Is there a restriction on kwh value for an off grid system by government? Say i want to install an off grid only system of 5kwh in my house then my assumption is that no one should ask me about load limits, etc. Asking this for remote locations. 2. Battery costs for an off grid system. Any estimate based on battery tech currently available? Want to have a huge powerbank which can give backup for an entire day. 3. Since we are talking about renewable energy, can you talk about environment friendly replacement for LPG. Thanks 👍

There is no limit for off grid system, as it's not linked with grid or government, based on how many batteries you can put, you can decide

1 half KVa(150aH) battery costs 12k rupees, so you need like 8 batteries, will cost like 96k + inverter costs, 1 battery will last 4-5 years, you are giving 25k per year
Thank you so much man it was really helpful
Thank you sir for this information video about solar installation. This will help middle-class people to understand the importance of electricity in home. Again thankyou so much❤❤
Can't hold back a person from 👍 this video just for the thumbnail itself. Man that is good.
Sir, you could directly say the video was sponsored by your college senior. And btw the most important question was ignored. What is the max wattage we can consume at a given time ? 3KW system doesn't mean you can turn 1 AC, 1 Microwave, 1 water pump together , specially important discussion for off grid system
Op 😂 thumbnail love it
Easy and crystal clear. Thanks. Please make a new updated video on this topic too as on mono cells i think now a days a lot of states are giving subsidy - correct me if i am wrong!
