When we first converted a cargo trailer into a camper, I saw a video warning anyone using a Cargo Trailer for Bug Out or a Camper, that they need to put a lock in the base that is attached to the cargo trailer frame, not the door. This way if you are inside and some joker decides to lock you inside your cargo trailer, they won't be able to get that handle in place to lock you in. Great job on the solar setup!

Nowhere to store a trailer at my house, but I've done something similar with my Suburban: 100w Renogy panel clamped onto the roof rack with cabling that runs in through the rear hatch and hooks into an Oukitel power station. Then a BougeRV E35 fridge, which fits perfectly in the passenger 2nd row seat with the bottom of the seat flipped forward and a spacer made from old 2x4 underneath it. For sleeping I've got an Exped MegaMat Duo M (by far the most comfortable air mattress I've ever used). Finally, a Leaveshade heavy duty retractable awning with indoor/outdoor LED tape lights on the outer and inner frame. Bug out vehicle and mini-camper, all in one!

Excellent question. I have the older ac200p and it won’t take a charge at those low amps and volts from the 180watt solar panel. That’s the only reason. The newer updated Bluetti ac200p can charge at a lower voltage. Some day I will trade up for that one. They are all EXCELLENT SPG’s I just had to use what I had for the time being.

Thank you for the response and the time you give. Hope to get my nerves up to create a channel as well.

Uncle Lead, can we have an update on this? I shared this with my husband and we love the idea.

@@leadfarmer73 okay cool, just like to see updates on DIYs. We were looking to get a trailer for camp and equipment too. What size is yours? How is the waterproof tape holding up? Is there anything you’d do different or are thinking of adding? Whatever you wish to share is much appreciated.
