Nice setup. We implemented a Surflow last year and were impressed. Bought a solar panel/management system, but ended up having access to 120V power. We did build a box out of an old Omaha Steak cooler and added a couple of relays, one to turn the pump on/off at 34F and one to turn a little 15W heater on/off at 32F. Seemed to work fairly well. Good luck this year!

Looks really good. I habe a similar setup, put mine into yellow topped black totes from Menards. I run 120v to mine, I am close enough to power. One thing, I believe your strainer is upside down. There is a potential of debris going through it that way. Aside from that, it looks great.

From what I gather, there are 3 sap lines, a recirc line, and a drain line. What's the sixth line? I'm going to be doing a very similar setup next year - it will be my first year using vacuum. Thanks for the info!

What is the Length and how many taps per line? Why did you go 5\16?

@@martinwollmann8026 approx 8-12 per line and they are 100-400 ft long approx. we wanted to put more taps on a line. We actually found a few small leaks and upped our vacuum to 25 inches after i took this. It has already produced 72 gallons with 32 taps in 24 hrs on its best day. Going to add a line this year hoping to get at least 40 on it.

Where did you find those little shut off valves? any issues with them getting blocked?

I believe amazon, but be carful some of them are just coated steel, check them with a magnet to make sure there stainless. No issues with them, they open up nice. Makes leaks much easier to find.
