Something that I learned on a previous scooter to prevent speed wobble is lowering your stem if possible. It lowers the center of gravity. Also, when speed wobble starts, pull up on the bars, using your normal riding grip. That will cancel the wobble. The worst the wobble, the stronger you'd have to pull up. 💪🏾

Thank you for great advise. I did lower my stem and made a difference. I was pushing and leaning more on the front but will try to lift up and get more weight on the back wheel.

Thanks for the feedback on this scooter my man. Your video is greatly appreciated, i actually test road an EQ from solar at Rider Guide's Rider Fest event at the apple valley speedway and the Scooter was wobbling from the neck at 20Mph, i found it un safe and gave my feedback to the solar reps. Also about the turd in the comments trying to blame your experience on the Solar scooter based on your weight. Ignore the dude. There are always going to be stupid people speaking their nonsense from behind a phone screen or computer. Consider me subscribed. 😎👊

It’s all good. I respect everyone’s opinion and we all come in different shapes and sizes. For me being 6’1” 255lbs I want a dang scooter lol. So I’ll get one that can accommodate and me as well. If size or a person didn’t matter they would all be Razor slims for 100.00 bucks. There’s a reason more powerful, bigger battery scooters, are bigger.

My Solar R1 motor failed due to a faulty controller that was on the Solar R1 they repaired it had to send it to them for repair it's been rock solid since i had speed wobble which landed me in hospital for a week fractured wrist and jaw i ended up getting a steering damper with a 150mm fisheye bolt just hope it holds because they end up bending eventually so have to keep replacing it.

Dang hopefully your healing well. I know when I ride I don’t think about standing on a small platform going 40-45 mph that if I come off it’s gonna hurt. I do try to always make sure I wear my full helmet and gloves. I’m hoping the new controller fixes it. Tired of it being down and not able to enjoy it.

That's a lot of wobbles, I would not take one hand off for any reason at any speed. Is there no steering damper or suspension settings to adjust? I have a Nami burne 2 max and I'm 6'5'' pushing 300lbs with gear on. I'm able to push 50mph safely and securely with 0 wobble with the damper, front and rear shocks dialed in and 50psi on both tires.

There is no dampener on this scooter and no where to mount. I for sure don’t take my hands off. I did lower my handle bars a notch and made sure to tighten the shaft and it’s gotten better. Tires are at 50psi as well. No adjustment on front shocks only the rear coil over.

@@bigzybinc ya mines been a pain since the day it arrived. I haven’t had it just cutoff but I did have where in dual motors it was just doing one. Tried multiple controllers, multiple displays. Eventually sent the scooter back to solar they found no issues ironically sent it back and it was broke. I have since replaced the throttle it seems to be ok but I have noticed my mileage is resetting lol. My platform lights no longer work and just waiting to see what else can go wrong.

My solar p1 pro pulsates aswell after a few miles and so does my friend's and the speed drops very quickly until your just about getting 30mph on full frottle and with 3 to 4 bars of power left what a joke! But the cheaper p1 3.0 that my son has left me in the dust even though he had 2 bars of power left .I think the controllers which are 2x25 amp are no where near enough to run 2 x 1600 watt motors it Deffo needs 2x 30amp controller s installed instead 😢

  • @EcklesWorld

These are new sinewave controllers. 2x2000 motors and 2x45 amp controllers. You can for sure tell the difference from 1 motor versus both. Hopefully the new controller they are sending will fix the issue. I have had some luck unplugging the throttle at the handle bars with it on and reconnect.

@koji_rai410 dude, his body size has nothing to do with the speed wobble, i dont understand why people always have to blame a person's body shape for everything. The reason for the speed wobble is because of the stem needing to be better secured, this is an issue with certain Solar scooters, ive test road a Solar EQ at a rider fest event and it did the same thing to me. Solar scooters depending on the model are NOT safe at high speeds. This is just my take and you can takr my feedback however you like my dude.

Yeah man, i test road a Solar EQ and it did the speed wobble on me as well and that was about 20 miles and the EQ was a tight as it could be. I honestly dont see most of Solars Scooters safe, they cannot have an adjustable stem the way they have them. So the GT1 and GT2 from Segway are super stable and very well built.
