This is the complete video series on the shallow spring water project - kzread.info/head/PLCpsODdJa_T7idAe_gbqLgMPyNJp4yUr7
That is some impressive engineering Steve - works well too. Clean running water makes life better at camp for sure - especially pressurized water - well done, cheers

Another informative video from the camp..... Now you have all kinds of water....your lucky to have that spring just waiting to put a pump into it Steve......all that a you have ta do next is filter it and make yourself a propane evaporator to make drinking water and you’ll be home free....good job.....just got back from my camp.....happy to be home for a few days......CHEERS

Thanks Gator , having water on demand is a treat. I'm heading up soon as the rain stops . Summers almost over .
Another great Vid Steve. PEX is the only way to plumb. 3/4 inch PEX flows a bit less than 1/2 copper, though.. Truly enjoy your adventures at the Camp 👍👍

Jerry I put another 100ft hose on it and never lost any flow or pressure. So 230 ft and I'm sure I could go another 100ft. Plans for next year to bring water to the camp with a hot water tank in the mix.
How's she goin'? This is a good idea Steve to have the back up connection for your water. The PEX crimp connectors are the cat's ass eh!!! I have done a lot of work with 1/2" copper and had many leaks, but with the PEX, it never leaks!!! I hope your water clears up quick and enjoy having the water at the camp!!! Take care!!!

Mike I have not experienced one leak with pex yet. I have even tried freezing a piece with water in the line and it does not split like copper either. Its pex for everything now.

Steve Rob, I may have missed it but what made you make a new collector station? Are you just experimenting or did you not like the other version? I do like the poly barrel idea.

Just a backup incase ones goes dry for some reason . I like using the barrel too it provided much more volume and filtration.
