I have 3.5kw on-grid and the exported unit they give for Rs.2.08/- only... Eg. If your EB units is 800 and for EXAMPLE TNEB charging Rs.4 per unit.. it will be 800*4=3200/- and if export unit is 500.. TNEB gives 500*2.08=1040... Your net amount to be paid will be 3200-1040=2160... Note: TN government has passed order last year oct 2021 to charge exported unit at Rs.3.61 but still they have not implemented it... Many will say Net unit payment will be = import unit - export unit which is not in TN till now.. I don't recommend off-grid because of battery maintenance and you can't get ROI....

Net metering is introduced again. Tnerc webpage can be visited to know the latest. Your right Battery is not advisable as surplus power cannot be exported. Commercial wisdom is very essential to get passive income. CAs can assist to gain maximum out of the investment. Thanks for your comment

TNERC update the policy order no 8 long back... But TNEB is still charging at old rate Rs.2.08/- per exported unit... Nobody from TNEB respond to it.. they don't know when it will be updated in system...

That is why best way is to substitue EB during morning hours with offgrid with 1 single or max2 battery in the existing inverter with max of 1kw. That is even less investment than 3 to 5 kw. This will help us run all lights fans laptop desktop small mixer fridge etc. This is more than enough to reduce eb investment and selfsufficient when there is no power. Currently this is the best viable option available. currently i just have a 400w panel with mmpt charge controller on a 1kva inverter and single 150ah batter. This helps me use all my lighter equipments with solar and i dont run out of dead battery either except for cloudy days when you can switch to eb when needed. I just invested 30-40k and i use it as solar cum inverter when there is no power at all

Yes, Netmetering service is enabled ❤️❤️.. my last EB bill is ZERO... ❤️❤️❤️ INDIAN make waaree / Vikram both are good and has been in this industry for many years... I prefer Havells inverter... Now with increase of prize on GST and panels..3KW you should get it done 3.5L. I always prefer On-grid... Both has advantage and disadvantage..

Slight addition we have not discussed about off grid system where we can store and use without tangedgo or grid. It may not be cost effective as the ongrid system. But we can be offline if we invest on battery bank.

@@gokulrajd1134 i get bill of 3.5k before installing solar. my bill came down to 400 now. exactly depends upon if you need or not. if your bill is very less. only inverter can substitute when you have no power. if the bill more than 2000 its worth to invest 30 to 40k solar. This 40k includes 1. solar panel 400w. 2. inverter 1kva 3. solar battery 150ah 4. solar stand 5. mppt charge controller 12/24v/50a 6. mc4 connector 7.wires 8. mcb for dc and ac two way switch to by pass whole solar. anyways i need an inverter. This is 20k more on top of inverter. tats it

I assume ongrid is cutoff during power cut because if we allow solar panel power to grid when the grid is turned off, it might kill line man who is working In power line , transformer or other maintenance work.

Except one-thing which he hasn't explained enough. You can still use the power output from the Solar panels when the grid power is down. You just gotta pick a inverter which provides that functionality. It's called off-grid inverter.

You can utilize the solar power even when the grid power is down if you buy hybrid inverter which has both on-grid and off-grid functionality built-in.

Let them not give subsidy but do not increase the taxes on solar equipment. Central govt is increasing tax on solar products, this can be reduced. There should be nil tax because it gives cushion for govt investment in electricity production. Taxing these solar equipment is a retrograde step.

Off grid Best.........

Go for off grid. This guy is saying only on grid solar. Explain clearly.

Not possible, what he's saying is correct, heavy equipment operating off grid Very difficult , eb bill is like a residential proof, if we don't use electricity also, you have to pay something as minimum Bill

Wrong information!!! Off grid solar system shall generate power without any electricity board or government. However, battery should be installed accordingly. Moreover for a four member family 2 KW is sufficient.

Grid operated is commercially prudent investment option. It is for trouble free option. Will you maintain batteries and replace it frequently? Will you put bear dim light and low power output during cloudy and rainy seasons or what about night hours? See my next video for my reply. Thanks for your comments 👍👏

No on some gadgets like ac you can't use in inverter, on solar it's different, on battery it's difficult, mover, eb bill is like residential proof, you can't stop it right away

but even the reporter confirms it he said it's not possible to have solar without EB connection, Although it is possible to run AC with 3kw inverter and solar panel set-up. People use to run High power motor pumps with Solar panel set-up, if the video has wrong information then this should be corrected or else it will teach many people a wrong opinion.

Wrong guidance solar will work without electricity that's called off grid.

You have not mentioned off grid solar generating systems. It is not dependent on Tangedco. There should be a short mention about off grid system. Without this the presentation is incomplete.

I have solar power and it is operation for more than 7 years. I am tech person. I am suggesting only that makes commercial sense. Of course there are other ways like off grid system but not a commercial rewarding. I will reply to your comment in my next video. Thanks for your comments.
