When you press auto it will automatically turn on when it gets dark at night and off when it's morning. You don't have to set it to auto everyday . From you set it once it will work automatically ❤️

Thanks for your question. I would not recommend you use these flood light in a residential room , because they are very bright and are designed for outside. The red light , if shown while the panel is connected to the lamp and it's daytime , means that the battery in the lamp is charging . ❤️

Most Solar flood lights work differently, but you can try plug in the lamp to the solar panel to charge then unplug and replug it . It might turn on that way . Or you can source a new remote

This could be a charge issue. Check if the connectors from the panel to the flood light are connected properly , it yes and it is charging in the daytime.; at night use the remote to turn it on
