why do you put conduit/fittings on top of outdoor junction boxes and wire trough? seals and gaskets will crack over time and leak. wouldn't it be better to run it underneath?

I only use the boxes as feed thru toughs there are no live connections inside. It looks nice to run out the top. I open up a lot of old boxes. It’s not like it has a garden hose on it. And the boxes can drain

I though they are a Federal Law that a electric company must buy back power. I have talked to the PUCO in a few states and I have found out some electric suppliers don't have to follow the same rules.

I need a similar system and have been comparing outback radian, schneider conext 6848, magnums or solarks. I'm trying to have a minimum of 12k but would prefer 16k+ inverting power. And, I'd like to have at least two inverters for redundancy. We need a system that can run a well pump, AC in the summer and have enough power to run a heavy load every once in a while if needed like a small welder. I'm leaning with the outback or conext, what are your thoughts on this? The solark doesn't seem to handle large inductive loads very well. If you were building a new system from scratch today what would you choose?

Jv@gainsolarpower.com Or 7708433497 Contact me. If you are DIY ing two solark 12k’s would be my first choice.

If you are going to DIY the solark is a lot easier. I’d rather have two 12ks that a 15k.

@@GainSolarPower From what I've seen the solark seems to shit its pants like a night of budwieser and taco bell when trying to start inductive loads; and it seems more sensitive than a woman asking "do i look fat in this dress" on unbalanced loads with "blue wire nuts" lol

@@GainSolarPower David, Bens Solar and people on diysolar forum all report the same issues with it which is why I was looking at the outback or conext. I think Ben, which is also a solar installer you might know, put in a auto transformer to help with unbalanced loads on his personal solark.
