I must say Solar guitars have one of the best headstock designs ever. Simple, elegant and sharp

Love seeing that you didn't just walk through and see that the work was being done, that you personally went through so many guitars to QC them. I respect a guy who gets in there and works.

Jackson too. I bought an RR 24 & King V & they both had a mile high set up. And as far as Gibson my buddy bought a brand new Flying V & it came to him from the factory out of intonation & a electronic issue.

There is a tour of the Epiphone factory in China here on YT. Their workers there have like average 10 years of experience, their QA 12 years and i believe if they were allowed to use better parts in their guitars they already would beat the shit out of Gibson.

I've had my Solar S1.6 LTD since December, and Ola really did an outstanding job with these guitars. It feels perfect, and I'm inspired to play every time I hold it. Great work, Ola!

My God Ola they are ALL so beautiful. Especially the blue with natural binding. You will do well friend. I wish the best of success to your company and Chapman as well. Definitely enough room for the two of you.

so proud that solar guitar was made in indonesia, and other brand such as chapman, ibanez,jackson, ltd, washburn, g&l,squier, yamaha etc. they have a good quality because the workers work hard to get a paid and struggle living in this country. if you read my comment, please sell your product in indonesia. it is so difficult to buy a guitar from other country cause the tax include. the guitars was made from indonesia and why not you just sell it there ? without bring it to your country and then sell it back to other country. i'm your fans , i love all your work and your products just amazing, the shape was suitable with my style. again please sell it in indonesia

yep..sure He will care, that is why he left Washburn you know to make more $ and to care more about fans...but hey you are in Indonesia and as long your neighbors work hard as slaves it is all good...it is shame and disgusting what people do, even if he loose some $ it would be more then fer that fans in country were guitars are produced have opportunity to buy guitars at normal price to export - import them twice. I'm sure He can't loose $$$ but it is business, learn that well when you involve $$$$ in the music love stops and it is just an ugly job especially when BIG $ is in game. Never trust endorser aka guitarist who say for each new guitar ''this is the best i ever played, have search for so long'' such mega BS ☺..For $$ you would spent on Solar for sure you can get far better custom made guitar there for your self, cheers.

@@bslazekan5778 you can find several small shops in Indonesia who make real custom guitars for that amount and less, just google or check FB. Or leave me mail and i'll sent you the name of my friend who work there, carve guitars and use only 1st class exotic wood so you can choose shape etc. 700$ which is min cost for Solar is HUGE amount of $ in my book, not to mention 1400$ for ''top line'' models. You can even order much better guitar in Warwick and make any combination that you like. If you live in Europe or in USA again i can give you contacts for people who can make you real custom guitar for that amount. We live in time when guitars are made with CNC and they cost same as guitars which were made by hands back in 80's, in 1987 i payed for Charvel 700$!!! A handmade you know , that is like 1300$ in today's money max, instead that guitars cost less they get more expensive due to people are greedy and this fake marketing ''i control quality'' that is ridiculous like what He live in factory? even then it would be impossible. To cut long story short live me contact will gave you name of shops don't wish to turn this into marketing, or simply just google it bro like ''custom made guitars Indonesia'' and for sure you hit several small shops. cheers.

I was shocked by how much I LOVE my Solar A1.6ET. Excellent guitars!!! From Indonesia!!!!

I think it's good to see that you at least visit the factory to make sure the safety is to western standards. You don't only care for your product to be the highest possible quality but also the production line to be as friendly to the people who make them. I worked in a tape factory for a while and we actually got 3 unannounced breaks a day because the glue would make you dizzy if you stood too close.

Many brands moved manufacturing to Indonesia, which is why today you can buy a awesome Axe under $500. If you demand mohagony and higher output pickups with better quality parts your still getting it under $1000. But any guitar especially from Indonesia be sure to check the fretwork for any high frets or other issues. I have 1 from Indonesia it's not a Solar but it's got no issues with anything, but I've seen some that did.
