Beautiful restoration work! Where were the SOL prams made? I'm not familiar with that pram name. I want to get a bedding set for my Silver Cross Kensington. A bedding set really makes the pram look complete.

The Sol (or Sol-Peram as the brand is entirely called) was made by Simmons & Co., Bermondsey, London, which was founded in 1883. Queen Victoria bought a pram from Simmons in 1883. The company was taken over by Marmet in 1967. That's all we have found so far about the brand. More info about bedding sets: www.luxuryprams.com/accessories/

@@Xikkes Thank you so much for your reply and link to bedding sets. I've been a stroller and pram collector over here in the states for many years and still learning about them. You taught me something about the history of Sol and Marmet prams I didn't know before.
