Hi there! Were you required to complete the government DViajeros Website form for your trip ? I don't see a Sol Varadero option in the drop-down for our hotel - If so, what did you choose? Thought id ask! loved the video thank you!

Hi there , thanks for watching . At that time it was not a requirement to complete anything online, everything was given in the airplane. I know that this hotel used to be called Sol Sirenas Coral, maybe it’s still listed under that old name, hope it helps .

Hi there ! No, it was not required by Cuba at that time, but you can double check online to make sure it didn’t change since then .

I‘m from Germany. Do you know, if I can pay with Euro in Cuba? Or should I better change in dollars? Thanks for the good video

I have friends who travelled from Europe and in their case Cubans preferred euro over usd!!! Like from them they just took euro knowing they are from Europe. It was in 2021, not sure if it changed .

Really, euro is better. You can change it into Cubanian CUC. If you tried to change dollars into CUC, they'll take a comission, something about 10% (Actually in 2020).

Is there some live shows at night ? Some live cubain band playing cubain music ? Thanks

We didn’t have live music or shows in October, unfortunately, just disco, I don’t know if it changed now

It’s a great question! You don’t need it, the plugs seem to work fine with Canadian/USA plugs. However, we only charged phones and the charger is okay to work with 110-220, so if you have device that is specifically works with some voltage, might have to bring one

I tipped in USD, but CAD is totally acceptable as well. I would say taxi and everywhere would take CAD as well

They want Canadian money! Don’t convert anything at the airport you can pay for everything in Canadian. You can convert your money with a local in town or on the beach for way better value for the few places you need to pay with cup.

Hi there, yes, good connection in a coffee shop, breakfast restaurant and some rooms . The only issue might have to reconnect, but the connection was good enough to stream Movie

It was very strange wi-fi. You must buy a special card, and you will have 1 hour of internet. It costs 1 cuc.

There is only one pool there. One portion of the pool is deeper, but it’s not too long.

I would say yes, a lot of young people while we were there . I’ve seen groups with single people who traveled as friends together , as well as we met couple of ladies from Russia and Canada who travelled on their own.

What a terrible story! While we were visiting cuba, our guide told, that all the cubanians like their government... Was it false? Or something changed?
