I hope their popularity level doesn't rise much further... so things like these still be possible in the future. Also, imagine them filling a stadium and standing in the back rows. These girls need to be near to their fans, they need this special atmosphere. They are so unbelievably good as they are now. Hopefully we'll be able to enjoy this for a long period of time.

I think there should be about one million Solveig's all over the world, so that every time you go to the market, or ride a train, or take a walk, there she is, being charming.

Jeez, that's just so... sweet... I'm experiencing some utterly new emotions right now :D can't wait to see Katzenjammer in Borovsk this june! And have a litlle chitchat like this.

1. @alicejung0421 The first time I saw Katzenjammer was on German television somewhere in July 2010. It was of their performance @ The Kulturkirche (Cologne). I heard e.g. "Wading in deeper" & "Lady Marlene" and was blown away: awesome music, nice instruments, great singing, great outfits & good looks too, ha ha. The same week I bought tickets for the show @ Tivoli 1-9-2010. Unfortunately that show was cancelled. But we've seen K. 5 times live and all performances were absolutely fantastic!!

@alicejung0421 . Funny! Yes, we met Björn there for the first time. Till now we met Linda twice @ Katzenjammer. A few weeks later I was with Linda @ Kitty, Daisy & Lewis @ Melkweg. Also a great show of them, We will certainly meet Linda & Björn again end of this month & coming month. Alice, thanks for all your kind responses and like I said: till Katzenjammer! :). Gr. Maurice.

3. The girl I spoke (very very shortly) looked Asian and said she was from Korea. My brother made vids with my camera. Unfortunately I didn't check before, so the sound is very bad and doesn't do K justice. A next time the quality will be better. Till Katzenjammer!! ;-) Gr. Maurice.

@alicejung0421 2. We were @ Melkweg, Tivoli (23.4.2011), Zwolle, Deventer & Arnhem. No problem if we didn't met ;-): it's nice that you like Katzenjammer too. Perhaps it were just 2 sentences we spoke (that you were from Korea), maybe I'm mistaken. The girl I mean was with another girl and 2 guys. Most of the time I talked with one of those guys. The 2 girls had a sleeping place just for the concert. One of the girls came from Germany. We will see many other shows of Katzenjammer this year.

@alicejung0421 Alice, thanks for wishing good luck on next Katzenjammervids. Ha, ha. If I remember correctly you travelled from Germany to Arnhem and you stood right from Linda. The guy you were with was Dutch. The other guy was German, but could speak a little Dutch. It was a great show at Luxor, like all their shows ;-). You can still have personal relations with fans no matter how famous you are. That's just a decision the artist makes and whether or not popularity gets to their heads, but not the popularity in itself.

yes, i agree, it's important for them to have a more intimate concert and certainly much more fun ;) but if they don't gain a bigger fan base, they will eventually fade into oblivion. we need them to at least be acknowledged in musical history. maybe they can still limit many their concert sizes--but they do deserve to be famous enough to be known by average people (not just hardcore fans).

Solveig is a beautiful girl...and so natural too...hmm those scandinavian girls :)

And then a lot of artists will start side projects to play in smaller venues to get rid of that 'back of the stands' atmosphere, because in most cases it's the 'band' that is famous, but not the people in them.
