I've just been to her solo concert in Seoul, Korea on February 24, 2024. She sounds even better live. It was an incredible 2 and half hours, which passed in what seemed like a blink of an eye.

According to Kim So Hyang , her goal is to use her voice to comfort people who are going through difficult times AS FANS AND ADMIRERS WE PRAY FOR HER CONTINUED IMPROVEMENTS IN HER HEALTH and also She is a Cancer survivor And still gets sick from Time to time. But is an Amazing Artist who gave up a Kpop career to sing for the Lord and for the Love of Music instead of stardom. She learned English as a Child from Disney Movies, which inspired her to Write two of her Books...(both Published and there are more). Also And Publicly thanks Mariah Carey for teaching her everything she Knows about Music ... that is some Testament to The Power of Music

You will be blown away if you react to: I Have Nothing (wearing blue dress) by Whitney Houston; You Raise Me Up by Westlife; & Arirang which is a traditional folk song abt the hopeful unification between North & South Korea. So Hyang believes the lyrics she is singing. This event was in 2015, when So Hyang was 37 years old. She is now 45 years old, and she sounds better than ever before, if that's even possible.

If you want to hear a BADASS RAPPER, then I strongly recommend you react to the PHENOMENAL So Hyang, singing 'Day Day', from the Begin Again Korea 2020 mini concert series. So Hyang is spitting bars like she's been rapping her entire life. 😀

Kim So Hyang es una vocalista increíble y se encuentra entre las mejores de Corea del Sur. Deberías ver a sus mejores amigos Cho Yong Jin alias ALi y Park Ki Young, tres de los mejores cantantes del mundo, y su amiga más joven So Seung Yeon. Con estos 4 cantantes, nunca te equivocarás. Mi favorito de todos los tiempos es ALi, que tiene una voz convincente. ALi y So Hyang son profundamente amados tanto en su país como en el mundo. Bridge Over Troubled Water salió en 1970 por Simon y Garfunkel, y ha habido versiones de muchos artistas diferentes, la versión de So Hyang es, con diferencia, la más fenomenal de todos los tiempos. Debo decir que es incluso mejor que el original.

Her technique was impressive and she is certainly very talented. I thought this was a good cover. I can't take anything away from it, and it was lovely. I have to say, though, that I still prefer the original by Simon and Garfunkel and that may be because this song made such an impression on me when I first heard them perform it.

Yes, it is not fair to review Sohyang singing anything and then compare her to other vocalists because Sohyang is a space alien from another planet. When you hear her sing your mind goes into a time warp and refuses to work normally until she is done, and then for the next 10 minutes as well.
