Great video on my favorite Mgm property!! This renovations was well over do, so its cool to see how a lot of the rooms are decorated differently depending on the tower you're staying in.

The room looks brilliant, i agree its a shame they didjtnrefresh the bathroom, but it wouldnt put me off booking. Im booked back into the MGM Grand in December and I keep hearing rumours they are refreshing the rest of the rooms so hopefully something decent like this, although im sure that will be next year! 😊

Yeah we agree with you on the bathrooms and it is odd as it’s so obvious, but I guess it saved a bit of money! Oh I’ve heard that too about MGM - it will be interesting to see what they’ve done, if anything yet. MGM properties are definitely on an investment plan at the moment

Are all the Solo King rooms corner views? How is the noise with the roller coaster there? Are these rooms connecting? Such as a door that leads into another room.

No they are not all corner rooms - it’s luck of the draw! You can always ask them when you check in. Some rooms connect - not all. I do not recall hearing the coaster. Lower rooms might?
Hello! How did you procure this corner room? Did you call, or book online? I don't see this option when I go to book online!

it was sheer luck at check in. There is no option online (that we could see) to specifically book a corner room. I would just ask at check in for a corner room. The room type we had booked for this was just a standard 'Soho King View Room'
Seems Somme Roma has new tile around the tub and others not it seems from the reviews I seen on here.

ahh, maybe they only replaced very damaged ones to keep costs down? Maybe they will update the rest one day

I believe they have all been renovated now. There’s no option when booking for an old style room anymore.
