He is currently a medical student now. He will treat people's illnesses in the future. He will also play the piano and heal people's hearts.

I don’t know how to say but his tone, warm sound has a healing power to my heart. Sawada’s Chopin sounds not like dominant or solely relying on ‘nostalgia and depression’, but considerate or consoling sorrow.

I really want his own KZread channel.. And hope someday I could go to his concert in Korea, or I could go to Japan😀 Love his music👍

He's the only one I have heard yet in this competition that I can listen to over and over again without tiring. I have heard other contestants that are without a doubt superb pianists and musicians but, to me, they do not give the delight to the ears and to the mind that Sohgo Sawada provides. I have accepted, sadly, that he was not promoted to the third round because of this and that, all minor considerations overall but perhaps with some merit when evaluating who will be able to withstand the grind of concertizing and be able to produce a reliable musical "product" each time -- but I only hope we will continue to be able to have the opportunity of following Mr Sawada's musical career in the future.

His sound is very special. It gave me comfort. He has the most delicate sound in this competition.

Mr. Sawada, I like your music and Sorita's music. Technically, Mr. Sorita's music may be more comprehensive, but the natural depth of the music you make is your strength. Your music can make people feel great compassion and sympathy. Under the touch of this kind of virtue, we will all be free and equal. And the joy and sadness in this kind of music are the purest, a display of the golden mean. Listening to Sorita's music can roam in his freedom. Listening to your music will be very heart moved, reflecting on yourself and finally becoming free. One is to be free with him, and the other is to be free himself. I think this is even more powerful music.

I seriously don't know what the jury is looking for this year. No clue. My top three favorite players did not pass through to the next round. You are by far the most musical of the people who played. You conveyed feelings to people. Maybe the jury members are insensate androids?

I will never forget the beautiful world of Chopin that you played in this competition. I'm applauding SOHGO SAWADA a lot.

You played just marvelously! How hard it might be to practice the piano and study medicine simultaneously! You are short of time. That's all. You can go farther on and on! I like your Chopin very much!

スタインウェイを使う日本人が多い中、カワイのピアノを使って、日本人の匂いぷんぷんさせて、中野翔太さんのような演奏スタイルで、沢田さんが描いている森に彷徨いたいです。沢田さんが日本人でよかった。魂を日本に置いてくれて心からありがとう。わたし、日本人でよかった。

沢田さんがセミファイナルに進めず本当に残念です。今回のショパンコンクールで沢田さんの演奏に出会えたことは私の人生にとって最大の収穫でした。沢田さんの演奏を聴き、これこそまさに私が聴きたかったピアノの音だと思いました。この先もしあなたが医師の道に進まれたとしたら多分多くの人の命を救える医師になると思います。ただもしあなたがこれからの数年ピアノと濃密な時間を過ごされたら、あなたは多くの人の魂を救えるピアニストになると思います。私は5年後10年後、そしてさらにその先、ぜひあなたのピアノ演奏を聴いていたいです。

かてぃんさん、反田さんを観るために初めてショパン国際ピアノコンクールをライブで観てました。でもそこで沢田さんの演奏を聞き、インタビューを聞いてまた戻って聞いてる私です。

コンクールという場ではどうしてもテクニック面での完璧さが求められると思いますが，それは置いておいて，音楽家として沢田さんの演奏が大好きになりました。あるレベルを越えた方々の演奏は聴く側の好みで評価されがちですが，音色の豊かさ，自然な間の取り方，旋律の歌い方等々，できあがった沢田さんの演奏，とても素直に心にしみてきました。これからも沢山の演奏を聴く機会がくることを願っています。

グランドピアノの最高峰といわれるSTEINWAYに負けず劣らず、伸びやかに響いていたKAWAIのピアノ！もちろん、沢田蒼梧さんの高い演奏技量があってこそですが、とても美しい音色でした。ピアノも奏者も素晴らしかったです！
