Softening Hard Rock Edges with Lush Plants - From POOL to POND Part 3
In this video, we revisit a stunning pool-to-pond transformation project after it has weathered through the winter. We take you through the process of softening the hard edges of the pond by adding lush plants, enhancing its natural beauty and creating a more harmonious, serene environment. Watch as we bring new life to this water feature, blending rock and greenery for a truly captivating backyard oasis.
From pool to pond - one of the coolest projects of 2023 was ripping out an existing pool and replacing it with a 20x40’ eco-system pond with a 25’ stream and waterfall, complete with a negative edge ending into a natural ravine, flagstone patios, hand-built bridge, and a sauna by Nootka saunas.

You did an amazing job on this home. From end to end your eye for detail is off the charts! You make me want that back yard with all my heart. The way the pond looks like it came straight out of a mountain top preserve. The person that said you added too many large stones, hasn’t had the pleasure of see natural wilderness waterways like this. I have seen places in the wilderness where the water does pool up in places along a stream. Always has a lot of large rocks in those places. I really do enjoy watching your artful intelligence you display.

Thanks!
There seems to be way too much rocks. People unsteady on their feet would not feel comfortable walking inside there.
