After more than a decade of making music together, twin siblings Phoenix and Mercedes Arn-Horn seized the opportunity to explore something new and different, not knowing where the road would lead them. Driven by the upheaval that seemed to dominate the bulk of 2020, including the mobilization of the Black Lives Matter movement that resulted from the killing of George Floyd, as well as the social and financial inequality exacerbated by the pandemic, the siblings found themselves channeling their frustration with the world at large into the music they were creating. Seamlessly combining grunge, shoegaze, dreampop, and punk into their music with a message, Softcult has quickly become the band inspiring a new Riot Grrrl movement for the digital age. I think they should record this type of version of the song and make it definitive version. It sounds better than the original one.

Yeah this needs to be the definitive version of the song now. That awesome slam like poem, the screams at the end, the awesome jam, this is brilliant. Surpasses the original by miles and miles, and even that one was freakin amazing.
This version of “UZUMAKI” is emotional and wonderful! And above all, it is beautiful!
This was a religious experience

didnt need a audiotree session. I like the music of the shopping mall goths but i just somehow thinks it was unnecessary to record them

In this comment section there is another accusation about song sounding very similar to completely different band's song too. Maybe its the sound that sounds similar not the song itself? Also Loathe themselves told their fans to stop with accusations.(it was more aggressive version of what I told. They told fans to f off with the accusations). Softcult does have one song that is very obvious plagiarism but its not this one. I do think that they should make those two guys official members of the band and not for just live performances because it does seem that with them they create a better version of the song and if its blatant rip off , this version of the rip off is a better song than the original song two way mirror.
