Yep no fan either of wrist snaps. Long toss is great. Use big circles. Yes, so many girls try to throw hard liners but they need to be throwing low rainbows. I preach this all the time. Great content again. Thanks 👍🏼👍🏼

great video. My daughter always looks like she is throwing a dart. She actually throws hard but i feel like it could be even better if shed get a farther reach back. Im her dad though so there isn't a whole lot of listening to me going on. lol

This may seem like a silly question. I’m brand new to softball and just found your channel and your content is so detailed and helpful. But you keep saying “for the girls” are these drills and tips universal for males too? Or is there a different throwing/hitting form for men?

When you pull the ball out of your glove, how far do you pull back your throwing elbow (when in the U shape). Do you pull your elbow behind your back so your back scaps are flexed or is that pulling too far back?

  • @MegRemSoftball

Ok so I just joined a new tournament team 14u I've been playing since I was 9 and I have 2 older sisters who also play softball so I have been playing softball for a while and every coach has loved my throws but me new coaches make us do rist flicks and they have been telling my i am shock putting the ball? And iam a little concerned that the wrist flicks are doing that to my throws what do you think?

  • @MegRemSoftball

The wrist snap is a warmup exercise, at least that’s what we use it for. We don’t do that for normal throwing

@@MegRemSoftball Agreed, the only reason why I use it is to stretch out the arm on the back of the elbow. Do you have something else I could switch to for a warm up like that?

Love your series but not big on this specific video. This one has not been able to fix any of my girls. Maybe not enough emphasis on leading with the shoulder and creating a rubber band effect? The U shape to the L still throws them off. They try but still end up in the “throwing darts” pose at the end.

Wild that someone who thinks this is dressing scandalously also thinks it is okay for women to be involved in sports. Guys showed more leg back in the 80’s

@@calvin2032Softball for women? No problem in my opinion. Dressing in way less clothing than necessary, problem. I think women and girls these days are dressing in ways that will harm them and will harm men. I don't think that's wild. And if guys showed any more leg than this, they'd be showing more than just leg am I right?
