I tan mine the same as you. Question I have is when all done can I wash the hide one last time? For some reason some still have a smell to them ,,maybe the tanning solution? I am scared to get it wet again after all that work. And yes I washed the hides many times before I put the solution on,,,they were clean as can be.

Some smell more than others I have noticed at times. I let them just air out over the next week or two. Another trick is you can use Oder Ban on them. Spray hair side out. Ol' stinky yotes LOL but love the fur. Thanks for watching and hope that helps.

I have a question. What tanning solution do you put your hides in before fleshing more off the hide? Also, if I needed to wash my hide, at what part during this process should I wash it

I'm having a hard time reading the label on the tanning solution you use though. Is there any chance you could reply with a link to the product or tell me where you purchase it? I've found a few different homemade recipes online but I'd like to use something with more reliable results first.
