I instantly subbed the moment I saw this. Anyone who puts in the work to hone their characterizations, let alone the fluidity of the animation, has a golden star in my book. I didn't know these fellas for like 15 seconds and I already want to guard them and watch their season two premiere and hug themmmm!! They both are just adorableeee!!! The samoyed and owl both have traits that are so charming and relatable to many people in our lives, conducting their dynamic magestically. The samoyed is so caring and comfortable to open himself up to new friends he admires, and the owl's still trying to unruffle their feathers to try new things. But it's more than extrovert and introvert, the samoyed doesn't just see life in rose-coloured glasses and takes in account that sometimes he can be other things than pleasant. That part where the owl just goes for it, AWHHHHH YES DEWIT DEWIT DEWIT!!!! That final sequence establishes that all they really need get through their days is their company; The samoyed diving in while the owl still trying to dip their talons into the water, The gaming session where the owl just enjoys watching, The- OH MY GOODNESS YALL ARE SO SWEET-, And the soothing night (you can never go wrong with that). Even if the owl is quiet and the samoyed is so energetic, they still do things together that they find middle ground in! And that's what makes their friendship just BOOOOoom!! They're not much alike, but I think that's kinda the point! And through all those traits they still care about each other so much and aaaa I LOVE IT!!! Awesome work!!!!!! And that's skimming over the smooooth animation and lively backgrounds, even that fun little interface at the start to focus on expression!! I used to have an owl in my life, but then they flew away and I'll never understand why. But I'm glad some owls stay

It's been said before, but this is so cute! I love the color choices and the little aesthetic backgrounds with flowers in the corners. You have such a unique art style, I especially love the scene where Tenko splashes in the water---all the spirals, and the use of blocky shapes to represent leaves and water droplets. I also love how the scene at the fair shows other pairs of dog-bird companions, what a nice world building detail. This is such a sweet tribute to friendship, just makes me really happy for you and your friend. I love it!
