Soft Floor Trailer Restoration Part 3 - I Can Only Conclude That These Floors Were Designed to FAIL!
I've taken on a trailer project, with our 2006 Dutchmen AEROLITE (built by THOR) trailer, and have about 4 months to complete it - basically I need to get it done before the start of next camping season. The floor is failing... completely... and I need to figure out WHY and then get going on the necessary repairs. In today's episode I make a surprising discovery, that doesn't really surprise me, if I'm honest.
Hi there, my name is Arne and if you're new to the channel, in addition to various home DIY projects, I look after the facilities maintenance end of things at a multi-campus K-12 school (plus a Preschool & Daycare) in Langley, BC. With nearly 1300 students, 200 staff, 5 campus' and various other outbuildings, there's always something to do.
I love my job; not only does the work I do benefit many, every day brings new challenges, which keeps me on my toes and in problem-solving mode.
Stay safe and be kind to one another!

Hi there, great video - about to start the same work on my own trailer. Can you tell me what kind of saw that is you're using to remove the old wood? Reciprocating?

For the most part I’ve been using a multi tool like this one www.homedepot.ca/product/ridgid-18v-cordless-lithium-ion-oscillating-multi-tool-kit-with-2-0-ah-battery-and-charger/1001649561
