I really appreciate this as I have had 3 colour analysis done all different and told I'm inbetween colours seasons each time There are some ppl who fit snuggly into a season and others who don't I can wear gold and silver But I realise now it's the depth and dimension for me Even my hairdresser said I need depth not dark Totally agree with in taking consideration about your style It should not be solely based on colour , they should collaborate with each other When Angelina wears deeper colours she does look more radiant as opposed to the light colours and similar to Eva green who is a natural blonde but looks great in deep rich colours as it's her style Love this example and your insight 🙏

I always felt like her skin was not right for a soft season, it seems so bright and even toned, even without black hair it gives her contrast

This video made so much sense. Thank you! I haven’t had a professional do my seasons yet. I’ve worked with makeup for almost 20 years and when I was in school we touched on seasons a bit. But we only talked about 4 back then! Now that it has gotten popular again, the 12 make much more sense. I think I will be a little tough when I get around to going to someone. I’m 99% certain what I think I am… But it makes sense when you talked about the transitional situations and that not every palette is going to completely fit you, because you will always have certain colors that will specifically always work for YOU! Can’t wait to be a “fun one” for someone in the near future. Thanks!

I am more and more confused for myself. I suspect im near neutral and most call me soft autumn/soft summer. I definitely don't look great in most pinks. Pastel or barbie. I look great in truqoise which is dark and bright, greens (both warm and cool ones), and most blues, and also pale aqua. Somethings when I wear them, I look ORANGE. It somehow changes my skin and makes me look orange so I presume thats a warm undertone? I have grey green eyes with hazel flecks that used to be gray blue when I was young, and natrual warmish dark blonde hair. I do tan a bit in the summer (which I couldn't do when younger- I'd just be super pale and then burn).

Surprising, you are used to see Angelina in her certain colors, she was winter for me, but comparing the colors, huh, i get your point. Thank you for the video.

Very helpful. I think I’m quite neutral, some kind of transition type.

In my younger days, I was typed a soft autumn. Now that I'm in 60's and turning gray, I've been typed a soft deep cool which I think is a dark winter. My biggest question relates to wearing gray and/or black...black seems too harsh and gray doesn't do much for me. I also wear a few spring colors that aren't supposed to be in my palette. Pastels don't work for me but then there's the question about what contrasting color to wear with deep colors so if I wear a plum top, do I wear a black or gray pant? Light gray for contrast or charcoal gray for deep?

This video was very helpful in clarifying why Angelina Jolie wears black so well. I have wondered about her colour season. Years ago I had my colours analyzed and was classified as a Contrasting Cerullian Autumn. Only recently did I realize that it means I'm a Deep Autumn. However, with my hair greying and my skin tone cooling, I am now finding that I am in transition to wearing more cool colours. It's awkward, as I'm not sure which colours in which palette actually are flattering. Do I cobble together a combination of colours to make a new palette?

Thank you for sharing :) It depends if you have "clarity" in your appearance more prominent now. I've seen people transiting through the same season or even to something like Bright Spring because it requires clarity-brightness. If you could compare yourself to a celebrity, who would that be ?

Thanks for getting back to me so promptly! And what a great question! I'll have to think about that as I can't think of a celebrity I resemble in colouring, as so many of them colour their hair to get rid of the gray.@@FilosoFashion

I compared an older photo of me (taken before I turned grey). The celebrity whose colouring most closely resembled mine was Michelle Mylett. Her skin and eye colours were very similar. My hair used to be warm brown, leaning auburn. @@FilosoFashion
