You might want to do some research on that included battery. The included battery is woefully insufficient. The included Sofirn 32650 6500mAh lion 3.7v battery cell is dangerous. That cell can only provide 6.7 amps and the IF30 draws up to 37 amps in turbo. Try using a Molicel P42A, or a P45B, 21700 45A something that can handle over 40 amps of current. For more information see the comment sections of videos of CharlesBridgTec and PiercingTheDarkness they did on the Sofirn IF30.

I have the IF30 in my hands, it just arrived. First impressions are very good. Only the re activating after 15 sec was a problem. Until I saw that I had to turn the wheel 60 degrees, till the green indicator lights up. So I am packed and ready. Spot ok, flood is inpressive, combi is useful too. Five stars

@@marcgossling8260 😂 It’s just a matter of using it to get comfortable with it and happily, that’s now accomplished!😁. Really like it, the spot seems to be pretty much identical in size of beam to my IF22A, which is a great little torch, but now I also have a great floodlight combined which is brilliant. I have quite a collection of Sofirn torches now, my favourite spot is my SF47T, which has a phenomenal range, I like my Q8 Plus and Q8 Pro, but rather too heavy for many things, this IF30 really bridges the gaps, I can see it getting a lot of use, especially for those winter camps as the nights close in. 😁
