Oliver's comment about the trucks foreshadows the new trilogy. Can't believe I missed that.

I love in this series that Percy is so much less childish than the TVS version of him. It's the fact his voice makes him sound so much older.

Aw... Poor little Percy. At least he has his friends to make him feel better. "Moving the problem a bit further down the _track._" ROFL Love the way you included Oliver on the Mail Train. "Oliver's Find" is such a popular season 5 episode.

Tines Sensahthe does a great voice for Percy and Ben Taylor does a great voice for Thomas both matching their personalities! This is a Fun story about Percy. Nice Job WildNorWester!

I liked Lily's little comment about passengers clothing ;D. It was an interesting story, reminds me of 'Changes' back in season 3 (STEY). And that shot at the end was neatly done.

Yay! An episode starring Percy and a great plot to use. Probably one of the best episode of season 2 even though this kind of plot has been done a few times.

Very interesting premise; definitely one of my favourite episodes from this season. I enjoyed how the problem ultimately came down to Percy not being prepared ahead of time for the other trains as a result of no longer taking the post train before them which in turn meant he hadn't quite gotten enough steam and became run down. Before the episode reached it's climax I was speculating that there was some sort of steaming problem for Percy but I couldn't be certain till the end as steam engines are complex machines and it could've just been something else. :)

Awwww those poor Mail cars. Hopefully we see them again soon. Great work WNW

I never realized the troublesome truck plot line extended this far back into the series. Talk about foreshadowing

Its a wonderful thing to see friends showing that much care for one another. A fantastic story and a wonderful conclusion. Also, for some reason, I feel like Lily is one of my favorite characters from your series. I assume its because of the lore she has from before. Last thing, loved the pan to the whomever that is at the end. Well done as always WildnorWester.

I liked how they mentioned planking.

Great episode! I liked how you had Oliver deliver the mail like he did in Season 5 of the TV Series, and how you implemented the idea of separate mail trains for each branch line. I felt pretty bad for the mail coaches at the end. I hope they get used again, even if it's not for mail delivery purposes. Also, I just realized there is only one episode left of Season 2 Part 1. Wow, the first half of Season 2 went by pretty fast! (Well, for me anyway.)

When I first watched this, it was at 3:39 when I suddenly realized that Tines voiced Percy.

@@nathanielgarza6712 it's funny though when he had a high pitched voice was due to his younger youth persona but here he's gotten more older and less cheeky. Goes to show some level of mature he's taken on.

I was expecting the problem to be solved by the Fat Controller adding in an earlier first train for the branchline for Percy to take so he can once again watch the branchline wake up and get ready in the morning.

This was a truly great episode! I like seeing how Percy gets an episode to himself, with him trying to adjust to what he normally does, and how he decides to fix his problem is ha delved very well! Also, did you make the mail coaches, because if so, fantastic work there Dan! I can't wait to see more!

+WildNorWester Ah, now that's a great idea, seeing that the mail vans were just ordinary rolling stock in the TV series, and seeing how disappointed they looked when Percy was taking the morning goods, I understand that this is gonna foreshadow how they feel in the upcoming mini series. And again, that's one thing I enjoy about your series, no matter how good or bad something is, nothing lasts forever. But even though that's true, the engines will do whatever it takes to cope with in the end! I do like that concept! Awesome job Dan!

At 3:40 through 3:43, what is up with Henry?!? He's missing his tender. HE'S BECOME A TANK ENGINE!!! Oh the indignity!

I see that the Brendam Power Station (in the background when the tank engines are waiting for their mail vans) takes its design cues from Battersea. Nice touch there.

That ending was strangely ominous, given the post van's sad face. The situation doesn't paint a pretty picture for them. Oh, I didn't recognise some of those NW Cattle wagons used in filming. Also, I do like the detail of the construction work for the new berth.

+Damian Freeman (TheExceeder) It was. Well, a mail train can't run forever. Emails and all those stuff already made the days of the post train numbered. Even so, it makes sense for only one van used on every branch, after all, there are still packages needed to be delivered too.On the cattle wagons, their Camscott's. You may not have heard of them because they're on his SI3D Forums account, and I'm not sure if he has them on his website.

You know, I find it almost surprising that most engines don't have a grudge of some sort against road vehicles and the "internet" thing they keep hearing about.Toby in particulat, given that he lost an entire railway to road services.

TheHappyTruckShunter Were they? Huh, I'll have to browse through the thing to find them then. I can reasonably see Thomas looking past his prejudice against road vehicles since he's friends with Bertie and Terence, and Edward has a bond with Trevor.. But Toby definitely lacks notable road friends. It just seems kinda weird, the engines (at least in the past, prior to learning better) have more prejudice towards diesels who directly made them and their bretheren obsolete, but not to road vehicles who render even trains obsolete in many areas.

I love how you can write such interesting stories without a train wreck or explosions or even an antagonist. In my opinion that is a fine trait for writers such as yourself to have. Your series never seems to dissapoint. Bravo!

I really love Tines voicing Percy! Such a contrast to the high/squeaky voices people usually give him. He actually sounds mature like he should be at this point. That and Tines has a great acting voice. Albeit, it was a bit weird not coming from Tobias, er, Toby. Side note: I love the post vans having faces. That's something ARC really needs to work on in the TV series, putting faces on more rolling stock.

Lovely episode, I can really relate to Percy's inability to wake up in the morning. Thankfully, the right prescription soon settled that! Also, lovely work on Annie, Clarabel, and the Mail Vans, they all look stellar.

That was a good episode and I do like how it focuses on Percy's favorite job in the TV series, "The Mail/Post Train".

i knew percy's voice was tines, it sounded so familiar. Good voice choice.

Well this one was another great Edition for your'e Series and it's nice to see Percy finally having a lead role

well its sad to see another regular Sudrian train go (the first being Gordon's express) but hopefully the post train may return to temporary service during busy times like Christmas, either way this was great episode :)

Awesome story sir! I love how Percy found a good coping mechanism, with Thomas' help of course.

Another great episode! Percy is now the star of episode

Seeing Thomas, Percy and Oliver together at the harbour sheds was a great throwback to scenes from STEY :) I just love how you're able to keep the story interesting from start to end, as the curiousity value of Percy's problem was a great touch. Naturally people would expect this to revolve around Percy missing the train itself but its absence butchering his psychological routine was a great twist. Once again Tines did superb as him. One question though, after two years back in service is Lily sleeping outside?

+TheBlueE2 TBH, the question of where Lily sleeps hasn't been answered yet. I'm doing up a 4 berth shed, though. For this episode, just think of it as her wanting to be with her friends.

Henry's tender is more box-shaped. Also, I like the way Oliver was used in this episode. I always found it odd that Percy had to do the intyre line himself, and that Thomas and Oliver never really talked to one another in the TV series. The same goes for Thomas and Bert in 'SLOTLT', but that's another stoy...

I felt rather bad for Percy, losing his favorite train. But I'm glad he feels better now. And as for that coach at the end, could it be... nah, I don't want to spoil anything in the future.:)

Oliver: There playing there tricks a lot more often. that doesn't sound like henry in the distance it sounds like foreshadowing. for the great western and Damien trilogy.

Another job well done. There are times when we have to make adjustment to our daily routines. Also, I noticed at 3:42 seconds that Henry's tender is missing. In regards to voice acting, Tines Sensahthe does well voicing Percy in your series, considering how he voiced Toby, Henrietta and "Evil" Duck in "Tobias and the Half-Pariah", so I've heard. Have you seen TATHP, out of curiosity? Anyways, I think Tenshine1 does well voicing Thomas after Joe Gibbons left. Could sound a bit more youthful but not childlike or anything, but that's my thought. And I was kind of wondering if Annie and Clarabel would speak in your series again since "Little Western Legacy". Are they going to have any more speaking roles in the future? Also, no doubt Oliver's reference to the foolish freight cars being more obnoxious than usual is foreshadowing to the three-episode arc in the second half of Season 2 starting with "Troublesome Trucks".

Hi WildNorWester. I have a question I've had on my mind for a long time. In the episode "Barry The Rescue Engine - Testing Times" Alice The GNR engine was separated from her sister Mary. I would like to know what happened to Mary after Alice was bought by The GNR Preservation Society because I felt sorry for her being in a scrap siding.

WildNorWester Dear WildNorWester I have 2 questions to ask about your Thomas and James model 1. There is some evidence the L&BSCR E2s were not painted in L&BSCR Umber livery(or L&BSCR yellow or brown) there is evidence that the E2s were L&BSCR goods black cause they were shunters and short distance goods engines cause they were not umber livery (only 103 and 104 were painted in that livery but were removed later on in 1914) also there is some evidence that Thomas might actually be 105. 105 was built sometime in 1914-1915? 2. Your James. Model doesn't really look like a class 28 it looks more the the class 27 can you give me an answer to why? Anyway I'm not asking you to update the models I'm just saying anyway your a great youtuber I hope you have a good life
