Perhaps, but it's never specified about the flight speed. Probably around a good 150 mph. I actually had to look up mythological Dragon flight speeds to make this estimate. There's officially no way that anyone could escape it, unless you're a bullet train.

I've done a switcheroo on my Headcannon for Oliver and Gordon. Except, Oliver isn't mutated. Oliver was heading to Killdane to bring supplies for Henry and the workmen, until Gordon heard, he swooped down and got ahold of him. You can likely assume what happened next
