Socks, Sweaters, and Tiny Decisions - Episode 38 - Rose Opal Knits Podcast

In this episode, we talk about our finished and current knitting and cross stitch projects. We are also celebrating reaching 500 subscribers with a giveaway. The Shawl KCAL has ended and the winners have been picked and notified. Thank you to all who knitted shawls along with us, and a special thank you to the lovely dyers/shop owners who donated the prizes: Angela of Willow Tree Yarn and Karista of Sweet Mountain Crafts.

We are a mother-in-law (Erica) and daughter-in-law (Daphne) duo who love to spend our free time crafting. Both of us are passionate about knitting. We spend a lot of our time planning our next knitting projects while our hands are busy knitting our current projects. We also enjoy crochet, although we haven't been crocheting for long. Erica has recently picked cross stitch back up after a four-year break, and Daphne is giving embroidery and sewing a try.
Please join us in our Rose Opal Knits Facebook group to talk about craft projects and to participate in current and future KALs and MALs.

I've been watching since about episode 5 (I'm not 100% sure though). Amy of Noble Character Crafts had recommended your podcast, I clicked over, watched the newest one posted (subscribing immediately), then watched all of the older ones and have kept up since! I started knitting when I was in the 4th grade (about 9/10 years old), put it down for years and then picked it back up in 2009 when my mom passed away as a stress relief. I've been knitting ever since (small projects like hats, shawls, and socks are my favorites to knit). I even picked up crocheting at some point during my 7 years of being a teacher. I now constantly have yarn in my car and spare hook/needles because I'm a mad woman who can't be stopped!!!
