What baffles me is he did not commit all the murders and yet the police swept that under the carpet. Clifford was murdered by someone else and that culprit is Scott free. Mind boggling

Jamie Brooks murdered Clifford Jones and he ended up going to prison for an unrelated crime, but he died in prison of AIDS, so he really didn't get away "scott free".

I'm more than willing to hear Wayne out, but his stories are so convoluted and unbelievable that he convinces me more of his guilt in at least what he was convicted of if not more of the killings. He's a textbook narcissist. I hate hearing him speak because the amount of hubris and the way he seems to talk down to you (he hides it very well) and he's EXTREMELY condescending. He was smart enough to get away with killing most of those kids, atleast 75%, but drove over that bridge. The narrorator suggesting he never dumped the body because the police didn't find it immediately made me mad. You gotta use ya head, it's pitch black, they're extremely tired, they're using absolutely trash spotlights compared to today. Of coarse the body floated past their sight. A bkack human, in black water on a black night, with a cop or two using yellow light spot lights to try and spot it. All it'd take is a fraction of a second for that body to sleep their eyesight and it'd be what? Found 2 days later about a half mile down river from the bridge. Wayne is guilty as sin, he killed majority, if not all of them boys. Who knows how long he'd been doing it too. His body count could be much higher

I'm in the Dettlinger camp on the Splash and Bridge incident. His theory is that Wayne disposed of Cater's body PRIOR to entering the bridge. There is a small road that leads to a boat ramp area on one side of the bridge. It was supposedly blocked by a chain and there is a security hut (no confirmation if a guard was on duty that night-likely not since a stakeout was going on nearby). Wayne could have killed Cater there or elsewhere and then drag his body to the boat ramp and drop him in the water. He then gets in his car and drives up to the main road and across the bridge. He indeed does stop and kills his lights so he can dispose of "trash" (as he allegedly initially said), that trash includes evidence of the killing (clothing, liquor bottle, personal effects) and that is the splash that was heard. Everything else happens as documented. This atleast explains how the body gets in the water, why Wayne is on the bridge, why there was a splash, etc.

@@Marpessa28 I think Chet purposely didn't take a side on any of the killings because he played a role for the defense. Also, he was selling a book. If it becomes known that the author sides one way, then the books don't sell. Same as when a movie has too may spoilers people don't go see it. His take on the WW/Bridge incident was just conjecture to account for all the facts. Mostly his opinions on the Bridge is that they don't add up as the FBI or police said it did, it supports Wayne indirectly.

Knowing that he and his father were photographers and that Wayne had styled himself as a talent scout in the midst of a large child sex ring cannot be coincidental. I have long thought that someone who worked with APS had involvement in the ring as well because they would have direct access to kids. Homer being a long time APS educator and a community photographer teacher fits that bill. I believe these child sex rings had gone on for a very very long time and that prominent Blacks help supply the black kids from poor neighborhoods on the Black side of the ring. I believe Homer socialized with these prominent folks but wasn’t quite from the same social set hence it being okay for Wayne taking the fall. Yes I have asked you several questions, appreciate you.

In the 1950s, Black men were wearing their hair in a "process" where it was straightened and greased down. Look at old pictures of the Temptations, James Brown and Jackie Wilson. Their hair is slicked down, not in an afro.

I say that Nathaniel Cater's body was already in the water, there was no splash.

QUESTION: So did Wayne turn around immediately after crossing the bridge, or did he travel further south closer to Bolton? The police tell several different versions, & even Wayne tells several different stories as to exactly when & where he turned around: Sometimes he turned around in a gravel lot near the bridge; in other versions, he turned around in the Busy Bee; then in another version, he turned around in Starvin Marvin at the intersection of Bolton....Even where they pulled him over changes. Then his dad supposedly told police that Wayne stopped to throw some garbage off the bridge, but Wayne says he never stopped

Also, there is a security hut on this road but it has not been confirmed if there was a guard on duty. Likely not with a stakeout going on nearby. Wayne has given a few different versions of the night on the bridge, but so have the police. If the bridge incident happened the way the police said it did, then Wayne already had his headlights turned off before he ever crossed the bridge and if that's true, then he drove right past an FBI agent with no lights on!! Detective Louis Graham, who investigated the child murders, said he knew why Wayne was out at 2 AM and why he was on the bridge, but he refused to elaborate.

Just curious, what makes you so sure that he and he alone killed them or anybody? I ask not to confront you but to see why some people are so hard in the camp that he did them all. What is the most compelling reason or evidence that allows you to think he did them all?

What none of the officers were willing to testify too is that often times they would sleep duty or drink. It's possible that the officers were asleep and the splash woke them/him up.

It was him. He was a homosexual psychopath in denial. Preying on vulnerable people. I feel sorry for people having to share a cell with him. If he wasn't such a coward, he would kill them too! It's interesting that many say Wayne embellish, yet, that's exactly what law enforcement did to convict him..lol. One thing people should realize, your characteristic actions over a number of days, if scrutinized by law enforcement ,would look suspicious too.
