I am concerned about the slide that shows the different cultures representatives and the labels above: White is joyful, black is lonely, Muslim is confused, Indian is frustrated and Asian is shy! It is very culturally incompetent and passes implicit biases to the children. I do not see a point of tying the label with a certain culture. Please change it to two separate slides.

I have to agree that the labels do seem to perpetuate implicit biases that we are seeking to overcome in our anti-racist classrooms. Also, I am not anti-white, I am white.

This is why our Country is going to hell in a hand basket. Teach children facts and give them a classical education.

Really stupid and unnecessary indoctrination. It is amazing that our schools won't just stick to what they are supposed to do: teach academics, not touchy-feely garbage like this.

A good academic must know that the human brain is more social and emotional than rational. Therefore, it is essential to develop these skills for a truly successful life.

How is it indoctrination to teach children how to understand and respect others' perspectives? Genuine question.

It would definitely be better if they left this to the parents.
