One league in 9 years. Same as Leicester
I think he will do pretty well
Soccer Saturday before they ruined it
And after 9 years and Liverpool have won everything under Klopp, they are not laughing anymore.
Klopp went and did everything he said he’d do
There were all laughing !! How right phil was
well charlie under klopp we did get our soul back :) he will be missed
Having watched his Dormtund extensively, I had little doubt we would end up at Liverpool (something that was laughed at at the time!) and he'd bring the silverware back to Anfield as Tweets of mine back then prove. But on this, you could see in this game, against Spurs, how much of a pressing monster Liverpool had become compared to the damp squib of Liverpool in the last season and a bit under Rodgers. Lallana was a man possessed out there that day. Liverpool soon after this went away to Chelsea and City, beat them in B2B weeks. I am not saying Klopp was the only one to get a tune immediately, but just look at the squad that day at WHL. Reaching a League Cup and Europa League Final, all without a pre-season, too, was super underrated even back then. Unlike other managers, Liverpool went step by step up the progression ladder until they won the league. There was no weird jump all of a sudden out of nowhere. Every step made sense. I'll be forever grateful to Jurgen Klopp for not just the past 9 years but 16 total. I followed Dortmund for a few reasons, but he stumbled into my life in 2009, thanks to Setanta Sports showing Bundesliga football. He was always special. He responates with me (and many others) because he cares for more than just football, unlike other men who may have won more than him. Liverpool fans get called passion merchants and all that, but I have no issue with being deemed that. It matters. On and off the pitch. I can say some new age fans in recent years could learn about the off the pitch stuff. We aren't Chelsea, for example, nor would I ever want to be. Jurgen Klopp is.. was our modern day Shankly. He made us smile. He made my life better being such a constant. He deserves his rest and to enjoy a less stressful life. And maybe in time, the German NT will top off his wonderful managerial career. Edit - someone deleted a reply to me, but saying I am being a hindsight merchant would be the case for many, if you want my Twitter I can link it showing how long I have been Tweeting about Klopp and Dortmind alone lol.

Origi was fantastic at the start, often overlooked because of his memelord status. He really could have been a top striker, but there was a very serious injury that put him out for an extended period, and ultimately was written out of the plans. Emre Can was good, Coutinho was amazing, Milner was always up there, Hendo was the perfect Klopp midfielder, did his job and was happy with it, aside from that a very very average team.
I miss this panel. Would make my weekends as a young kid who couldn’t watch the footy live and always keep up the scores on soccer Saturday. A big shame when they got the sack for no valid reason

When this was broadcast, Luton were in league 2! 😮
Tbf Charlie was correct. They did identify Virgil to help fix the defence. The Coutinho money went a long way and he did stamp his personality all over the club.
It's weird to think anyone would've had doubts about this appointment. I suppose it was a risk in the sense Rodgers was doing alright, but Klopp was clearly elite even back then. He wasn't some underappreciated gem in 2015, he was in most people's top 10 managers in the world among coaches like Pep, Mourinho, Ancelotti, Allegri, Heynckes, Conte, Low, Mancini, etc... He was every hipsters choice too (perhaps where the doubters came from). The whole gegenpressing/heavy metal football concept was the trend of the time & he was the face of it.
Merson looking like Ray Winston nowadays 😂😂
Why was the production quality better then than it is now? Nowadays just a bland blue screen in the background
