I think sponge should be placed above ceramic ring to make sure waste get filtered thereby filtered water will work on ceramic

You should put the ceramic rings first. Then use the plastic grid to separate the rings and cotton filter. The cotton filter should be at the top so when the water comes in, it will filter all the waste before getting to the ceramic rings. If you put the ceramic rings first, it will house non beneficial bacteria and ammonia too.

Here's we unboxing this product & try to set the filter media also ... but it's not the right way to install ... *installation is not properly show ... It will be show in another video * Filter media will be under the Sponge - not on top🙏

You're right .. but Here I want to show that product & filter media which can be used ... but unfortunately it's make like that I setup that filter for filtertion .. .. It's my fault ... next time i will make carefully ..... and this mistake i edit 7 months letter because i was not active in KZread ... .. You guys ... all of you who told that mistake, I'm thankful to you ... .... we all are in this family so please share your advice 😊 .. share my mistake .. .. & help everyone ❤️

It’s not such a big deal. For your information anyways any type of bio media will not survive in this top filter, so doesn’t matter in what steps you setup the media. Just do as you feel. Only way is to modify this filter and DIY

I meant the beneficial bacteria in bio balls may not survive. As bacteria will die whenever filter goes through long power cuts, 30 mins or more.

No no, use less power one.. This one is for 5+ feet... It won't support your 3feet tank... I've got Sobo WP 2880(25watts) but I feel, it's still too much current for my dwarf cichlids 3feet tanks... So get something around 20watts exactly...
