Bless you hun, Thank you so very much for this video. Ive been a christian for over five years now. But unfortunately, i've become lukewarm, and that comes down to me not bothering to read and study my bible properly. I'm so ashamed of myself, I hate have become idol and easily decieved. But for some time now, the lord has been calling me to back to him. I have started looking into how to study the bible. I have been researching alot, and ive been looking for the right way to go about reading and studying the scriptures. I had heard of, and seen this method recently on other videos, i I wasnt sure of it at first, but the way that you describe it is perfect, and its so easy to understand. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, i think that i am going to use this as my bible studying method from now on. It's very simple and not complicated. I am thankful that God's conviction has brought you closer to Him!!! Forgive yourself and keep moving forward. It's so easy to become distracted in this world we live in. Even when we try to read the bible, pray, etc the enemy tried to distract us, but glory be to God that HE gives us strength and He remembers that we are but dust! He takes the time to meet put needs and comfort us when we are feeling bad and I'm thankful you reached out! Have you had a chance to try the studying method or anything new? One reason the Demons asked to go inside the swin of pigs that were present, is because for a demon to be out of a body is continual torture. Remember the biblical verse also where Jesus speaks of the state of the man who had demons and once his house was cleaned (meaning his body was delivered from demons) those same demons came back to find the house clean, in order & went and found other demons that were worse, and the state of the House (man) was worse. this is because when someone is delivered from spirits, first that person must be willing to accept Christ so that the Holly Spirit can dwell in hearts.... Otherwise the home, the person's heart stays empty, leaving that person exposed once more.

TY for sharing your SOAK! ... Have you recv'd an answer on your pigs, btw??? I definitely like the unclean spirits = unclean food! I have also read that the material loss of their livestock is nothing in comparison to the loss of a soul, but that the people didn't quite see it that way ....Also, the spot is or was called Kursi, and in 2015 the archeologists found physical proof for this story in the Bible - which, to me, is exciting, too! how do you do your paper for soak method

april garlick I write out the S O A K in paragraph form. I leave space for each section so I have enough to write and I usually leave more space for the S and the o but that's just because I have big writing sometimes. Just leave enough space so you could write. I get the references from Pinterest if you type in S.O.A.K. Bible study method method you can find the color references.

I can't bring myself to mark up my bible or any book lol. Maybe it's an ocd thing

The notes here are taken from Matthew 18:20. The person in which, I got the notes from I respect His opinion. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. 1) The context is not a church gathering, rather instructions on what to do when somebody sends in the church (see v 15).-- thus, church discipline 2) Jesus cites an old testament law to validate a testimony where two or more witnesses verify ones testimony, as he says a in v 16. Jesus also quotes this old testament law in John chapters 5 and 8. 3) Jesus says in verse 20 "I AM in your midst."... so it it is not talking about the holy spirit but rather Jesus himself indicates when the law of two or three witnesses is obeyed Jesus approves of that law-- and there is no reference of the Holy Spirit. So the entire statement in CONTEXT it has to do with "church discipline" and instructions when somebody sins...and not merely attending a church or a description of the church. And as mentioned there is no reference to the Holy Spirit.

They wanted Jesus to leave after He cast out the demons because, think about it, 2,000 pigs, they were the peoples food and money. They lost it all when the pigs jumped the cliff. They weren't concerned with the one man, they wanted the food and money.

I am in awe that you have let the Holy Spirit speak through you, I can feel the Holy Spirit burning now and trying to cry. Your words are words that He has spoken to me. And I am ready to go home because I am tired of this temporary place and and battle wounds, In my heart and on my body..

Now, the people were mad at Jesus because those pigs were a form of income for them... they didn't care about the state of that man who was possessed, nor did they care about they themselves being saved.... they only cared about the income they were gerenating through the pigs.. Bottom line, for them it was all about money. Which we see the same thing today in many people's life's ...they chose money over God and compromise thier salvation for ambition, money or fame. all which is vanity and will also perish. it's also said, they leave behind all that they worked for, for another man to enjoy it.... and all for what...
