The "Hard" Dair Actually have 2 version One where you slightly follow the opponent as you throw him and another where you stay were you hit the dair

Another thing that I'll say is that Scythe is a weapon that get strong as you play risky. It's a quick string weapon that is made to make your opponent suffer if you get one of their dodge so my best advice would be to swap between reading and punishing to mix up your option as well as the game tempo.

Reading is anticipating an habit of your opponent and punishing is purely reacting. Alternating between those to create a disturbance in the tempo ( It's like fully charging Wu Shang DSig even if it hit at frame one )

If you set the bot to a certain dodge reaction and learn reads from that, then yes that’s good. I myself did that too. My point in the video was that you can’t practice your ability to read people in training room by putting the bot to random dodge reactions. I guess you can learn to react that way, but I was more or less only talking about reading people, not reactions

i swear i just watched the video start to 13 minutes then played brawlhalla with mordex and dominated so many games in a row (in double digits) 💀

TIP TO IMPROVE WITH SCYTHE: go in a custom game with a friend to improve with, both go with a scythe legend and select crew battle as the gamemode. Then put in 4 - 8 medium or hard bots to practice against so you can work with a friend and learn to play against all the weapons at different levels. I went from silver 2 to plat in a week doing this

Pro tip: make up everything as you go, that's how scythe works and you'll never get good placement if you can't work on the fly and read.

Can you make a tutorial in a competitive match or casual matches? I find those more useful to understand situations than the fake shitty ass practice tool, it's useless to render a real scenario where you don't have time or know what the the enemy is going to do.

Use the bot as a basis on how you'd read an enemy's dodge, as to other factors the bot cant teach you like spacing attacks, punishing, etc, you just have to take your time and keep a cool head, if you let the game get to your head or your mind gets cloudy, get off the game and take a break, you need to be able to think in order to read or you're just playing based off of what your eys see instead of what your brain is supposed to register, for example, if i'm playing scythe v katars and I know the katars always wake up, it would be best for me to hit them, then stand still or walk backwards a bit, let them whiff, then hit them with an optimal combo, if you rinse and repeat bread n butter combos it tilts players because they're getting hit with confirmed unavoidable damage and then you can play more dangerously
