Hi sorry for bringing up this old comment on F36 how did your rung the yellow and red cable for turn signals please as I want to install these on my F36 but not sure where to run that

Are the f36 turning signal wires different to those on the f82 tailights? Just curious since to see if maybe I can help

This video just popped up on my recommended after installing my GTS Tail lights on my f30😂and it’s from VLAND brand too and the fitment wasn’t all there but I got it to work👍🏽

Very helpful video buddy! I've just got the same issue with those tail lights on my F82. I guess I'll try re-install them to make it fit next time :)

Great video! This solved two issues for me - refitting the lid liner (I moved the ballasts to where you have them) and the alignment issue. One thing I will say though is that the closer you get the lights to be flush, the bigger the gap you’ll have above the wheel arches. It’s tricky but you can get a happy medium.

I have this issue with the lights end by the wheel arches, I've adjust the 2 noggings so far in to get the light flush with the bumper light, but this has left a gap by the wheel arch end, would this still be ip rated? I wouldn't want to get water in there from a jet wash and short the lights out?

@@FilthMachineDubstep I've a small gap between the wheel arch and I've used my pressure washer on the car 6 times since and there's nothing getting in there thankfully!

Got them and as you showed they do in fact stick out on inside tails, will have to do this at some point so this vid should help when I get to it

Happy to know this video was useful for you! Now if you plan to remove the external gaskets on the lights, it may just cause for vibrations when driving as it’s intended for a cushion between the lights and car panel. But they also serve the purpose of keeping moisture and water out. Hope this helps you out!

I only removed the one section demonstrated in the video. I live in the Bay Area where it rains and gets pretty humid and haven’t had any leaks or condensation

Hey I was trying to get these in and couldn’t get any fitment finally got 1 in with a lil force trying the same on the other and the plastic clip broke any idea on how to fix it or secure the tail light?

Damn sorry to hear that bro. Okay are you talking about the outer clips that hinge over the trunk? If so, you can do one of two things. First would be, buying some 3m double sided tape and cutting thin pieces to attach the tail light to the trunk. Second would be to buy some gorilla tape and use a small piece of the adhesive tape to hold the light in place. Ypu can also try to use super glue to glue the clip back on if you still have the piece. But feel free to send me pics or questions via instagram.

Tried installing these for my pre lci f82, but the oem inner taillight bracket doesn’t fit any idea where I can buy one

Only place I can think of for a new one would be from bmw directly or if you were to contact VLand or something off eBay. Hope this helps and good luck

First check to see if your headlight switch is set to auto, if it’s not put it in auto and then see if the sequential function works. If that’s not the case it could be the wiring or a bad module

For a toy car it’s easier to work on, you don’t need as much tools

Where’d you get that wing eww the left side doesn’t fully stick. Mine also does that and it bothers me soo much such shit fitment.

I honesty can’t remember but with a bit of 3m tape I’m able to secure it for better fitment.

Did you buy them brand new? Have you had the chance check for moisture inside the unit? Personally I've had mines for a while now they've gone through multiple washes so maybe you just got a defective one or the weather seal isn't fully sealed.
