If they do it once in a blue moon, it can make the skit funnier. On the Carol Burnett show it worked. On SNL, certain cast members do it too often and it usually kills the joke, IMO.

I am an actor myself and I could never do SNL. It can take weeks before you can stop laughing at your own lines and those of your Co stars. But the cast of SNL only gets around a week to prepare. Even when they can't get through a scene without laughing at every line, I'm still impressed.

Kyle is Always so great in any of the Dating (Game) Show skits.. in all the variations Kyle's characters are spot on, could def see an actual guy going on a dating show & doing the exact same things that Kyle does in the skits.

It was Pete 😂 I think even though the glass was fake it hurt him a bit

I love how the description says Mickey Day is a magician when 1. They misspelled Mikey, and 2. The magician is Alex Moffat lol

Pete breaking character was hilarious at first, but here it just seems careless and cringeworthy.

Pete at least has the excuse of using medicinal marijuana because of his illness. Fallon was totally sober and was still worse.

Awkwafina's resignation is perfect, and I love the premise, but I'd also happily watch hours of Leslie just yelling at Pete Davidson.

I know Pete breaks, but he's my favorite. I'd go on a moonlit cruise with Dante.

Suspiro, maybe more writing, less performing. She flubs 50% of her lines and at some point that just becomes a practical issue. She can't even get her first line correct here, dropping the "so". Some people just can't perform, its not the end of the world.

a fair amount of the cast are comedians who don't do skits. Pete and Leslie are great comedians but skit actors they are not

Leslie ruins almost every skit and now Peteyboy. What saves Pete is his smile.

I love how Leslie laughed and tried to cover it with the cards 😂 The fact that they can’t hold in a laugh makes the whole skit better

i think this was great. the magicians are awesome stereotypes...all played so well

Kenan is absolutely amazing on these sketches, his faces are so damn funny!!

Sorry guys. This was a really bad sketch imo. However, "Dante" and his "sister" were the highlight of this sketch and did really great. Pete Davidson is starting to remind me of Jimmy Fallon - always breaking and laughing during the sketches.

Yeah the problem is that Pete's more of a stand up guy than an improv one, so he's not actually very good at acting or holding character.

Those two were really great! This shows that even if the script is not great good acting can help it. The rest of them though looked like they didn't even try!

I was disappointed with almost all of the writing on this episode. Love Aquafina but she wasn't that good - course the skits were terrible so that didn't help

Leslie is such an underrated actress! I wish someone would write her something amazing for her to lead 😍🙌🏼
