Really good that you're sharing info about bracing George! Funny with the people on shore 😂 Now about the Itiwit X500, I have one and it's objectively true that it's nicely wide, but in all fairness, that probably comes from all the ice cream that's digested during my summer paddles in it!

lol I never knew you had an X500 Hehe Wish I still had mine ! Don't get me wrong I love the PakAyaK but with what's going on at the moment it's driving me crazy and costings me money, in fact because of the problems I have just had to spend another £350 on a car roof box... PakAyaK are meant to call me today (again) so hopefully I will have the problems sported soon and I can tell you all about it. But I'm not saying anything as yet because I want to be fer to them and give them this (ONE LAST CHANCE) But I know you and others will be shocked when I tell you what has gone on.

I am experienced canoe paddler, and I took kayak lessons last year, and as of yesterday, I received my Pakayak bluefin 142, reason I bought was I don’t have garage so I want something that would be easier to store in home. I will practicing on some ponds later this week.

@@THE-RIVER-RAT . I bought some H2 glue and another set of hip pads. I cut the high part of Pakayak hip pad. Put two coats of H2 glue and put some H2 glue on back of new hip pad and then stuck them together. I also glued Velcro piece in proper place on kayak, to hold hip pad in proper place for my hip. I will test tomorrow night to confirm that it contacts my hip properly on each side.
