Easy to get emotional watching this beautiful video. Very proud to call Winnipeg (and the province of Manitoba) home.
Grew up south of Wpg. Festival du Voyageur was a staple, as was Red River Exhibition, alongside Blue Bombers, Salisbury House, A&W drive-in, etc. Now on Vancouver Island, with nostalgic pangs for the Forks, etc. 😊

Closed captioning is often wrong. It's simply the stenographic nature of the system. Often it resorts to phonetic representations of the word, especially if it's not English.
