I have 2 bowls and the salt and pepper shakers. They were my mother's and I can't remember when she didn't have them.
That painting tugging on my heart. We lost our grandson who loved the ocean & would jump in clothes & all when my husband took him to Maine. Oh God I want that so bad.

I’m so sorry Judith. We lost our firstborn son and he was also my parents first grandchild. I hope you get the painting. ❤️

So sorry for your loss. I get the lure of the ocean. Nothing smells better than the sea air. And this from someone landlocked 6 hours from Maine and antsy to get back there post-pandemic.
I love to see Andrew's reaction when he sees that cat LOL
100% love that last painting
Loved all the flower brooches! I had a brooch flower bouquet when I got married back in 2011! Vintage inspired wedding! My bouquet was one of my favorite things from my whole wedding! So many great finds!!
I can't wait until the SOLD video on that cat. ☺️
The "rooster-peacock" plate is an actual rooster. The rooster is bread to have the long luscious tail. Look up Japanese Rooster with long tail and you'll see. We have 5 here in Monroe, WA at a Garden Nursery.

Yes, I would have snapped him up without a second thought. It was lovely.
I once counted 13 foxes in my backyard, 1 adult, a couple of young ones that reminded me of our teenagers that looked like babysitters & the rest babies that were playing. The adult took off & the younger ones played for a couple of minutes. I was watching from a window. I had filled a swimming pool & they dug a den there. Before that I used to occasionally see adults in my pasture. Like you, I love the foxes as well.
My favorite things you got are the weird cat sculpture and the painting at the end. Looking forward to “sold” videos on these. 🙏💚💚💚
08:06 The crazy cat is awesomely weird. We need a Sold video on that one!. 18:09 I'd have bought that gelatin print trolley so fast... my late dad was a rail nut with an annual pass to a trolley museum. A gelatin print means it was contemporary to when the trolley was running and not a later print of the negative.
Can you imagine what the people in the tin photos would think if they knew their image was being sold on an internet site? So beyond anything they could ever comprehend in their time. I love these. I have a few of my great grandparents.

I love them too! I have 7 of them and if the people in the photos were around today they would probably think I’m weird having photos of people I don’t even know. But hey! I have an instant family lol
The cat sculpture was amazing! I going to check your shop on how the $78 dollar piece cleaned up.
The gouache painting is done with a water based opaque paint that is thickened to a glue-like thickness. The image looks like it could be by Kay Nielsen, an Danish illustrator of Scandinavian folk and fairy tales. He was extremely famous and his illustrated children's books are still available today. That piece looks like it was done around 1910-1920.

Yes, that time period. Many commercial and other advertisement type art (broadway brochures, products etc) seem to follow that stylistic form. Typical pre-20’s fashion. I think many artists unfortunately go lost. Like most people, get a check and that’s it.

@@johnandersen8998 Agreed, it reminded me of Helen Dryden and her magazine covers...or Martha Romme. Time period is the same but not a Kay Nielsen
That "Cheshire Cat" is AMAZING! I absolutely love the weirdness of it! 😍😍😍 I think I might need one in my life, but can't have one until my grandchildren get a little older because I wouldn't want it damaged.... Thank you for sharing. 😊🌹
The cat sculpture is so ugly but one the COOLEST things you’ve recently picked up. Let’s just take a moment and reverence the artistry of that piece!🙌🏻
Your cat is probably made from paperclay. It's moldable like clay but very lightweight and takes color nicely. Used to make jewelry too.
I found my first MA Hadley pottery items, 5 mugs & 1 plate at Goodwill for a total including taxes of $15.52
💖THANK YOU 💖 For taking me shopping everyday. I learn so much and see so many unique items. Also congratulations to you and Andrew and the kiddos on the baby.

At first I read thank you for faking me shopping. Even if I read it wrong I'm thinking it's what we do. We shop with her at home.. I did read taking, the second time.
Those flower brooches were amazing! You’re right about them being used in wedding bouquets- that’s what I’m doing!
Jocelyn, thank you for continuing to entertain, inform and amuse us. 🥰
I'm one of the half that can not see anything I would want in that cat sculpture! But I loved everything else Jocelyn!
Weird is my middle name....I love the Cheshire Cat! A little whimsy is always nice!🙀
I love that wood vase with hibiscus! Beautiful!
That cat is EVERYTHING!
I love the cat with the mighty fine whiskers!👍😹
very nice haul . thank you for letting us tag along , thank you for sharing.....................
Oh my 😍 I’m in love with the Cheshire Cat in glasses sculpture! Fabulous shopping trip, thank you. Peace and love to you all from the uk 🇬🇧
Hello always excited this is my happy place
I like the old man and the boy, looking at the sea, painting. I think that you could get some chill time in, laying and looking at it.
Hi from Canada…. Love the Cheshire Cat … gave me the giggles!
I know someone else probably told you how to pronounce the painting medium - you say it like “gwash”, it’s a thick watercolor, with non opaque paint. Great pieces, that cat sculpture is everything.
I'm geeking out a bit! I bought a lustre pottery fish vase almost identical to yours at a charity shop in the UK about 4 days ago! Exactly the same except the fish is a different colour & shape. No sticker, but I guessed Japan due to the weight- thanks to watching this channel! It's going in my Etsy shop, but I'll see how yours sells first. Great to see you pick out almost the same item (at a higher price!) and buy it for resale, and you're already making a profit on it! Thanks for teaching me 🙂
Loved the funky cat ! The Christmas candleholders you passed up that were 30 each I picked up last year they are really cute and unusual.
Omy, I LOVE the Cheshire cat! It's amazing! BTW, Kat the Nurse Flipper has sold some tintypes and Daguerreotypes. She seems to be knowledgeable in that arena. All I know is that tintypes are attracted to a magnet, but Ambrotypes and Daguerreotypes aren't. TFS your adventures! 💙
Love the painting! Very very lovely. The cat is fantastic! That fish earing 😍😍😍😂😂😂
I LOVE the cat with the cat's eye glasses!
Gouache (pronounced like 'gwash') is the name of a paint. It's very versatile and can be treated like watercolors or layered like acrylics. It dries down to a matte look.
I love seeing you in the mirrors in the cases...you totally talk with your hands ( hand ! ) lol ! Too cute ***
Oh my gosh 😍 that weirdo cat was EPIC!!!! ❤❤❤
Nursery decor! It’s amazing fun fanciful and imaginative.
That cat is too amazing for words!!
I like all of those little framed pictures.
Wow !!! Awesome stuff
I love the kooky cat ! It’s so cool .
That cat was so cool! You look amazing young lady!!!
I love the cat piece and the fish. Very cool

I love the red mats with the girls on them! I'm not sure why I like them so much, but I do. I'm going to see if I can find them in your eBay store. Also, that cat is AMAZING! I can see why you picked him up! 🙂

They look to be Scandinavian.
Planning a Trip to Hershey Pennsylvania in June so hoping I can go around to some of the places you go too and maybe see you! Missed you last time.
Angel mats are so precious. Would be great for Christmas. The crazy cat was hilarious 😂
The cat is the coolest thing I have seen in a while. I love it.❤️. It’s so ugly, it’s cute!!
Last painting a rendition of Norman Rockwell's "Outward Bound"
gouache is a specific type of paint, dull finish , water based. we used it in my illustration classes
I love the painting 🤩
Jocelyn that cat was fabulous. I just bought the same fish vase at VV last ugly it would be great for the man caves. Cheers
That cat is awesome!
I love the cat doorstop, priced about retail though. It’s been my experience, that when you find an item made by a company that’s known for a niche item, when they make something else it sells fast and for good money. Longaberger is a perfect example.
That was soo odd, but at the same time amazing!
You found some beautiful pieces. That weirdo cat is everything! I'm running through my head where would I put that? 🤔 I have limited space in my living room. I learn a lot from you with every video I watch. But if I look at something I wouldn't know what's is considered a good price to sell for a profit, right on the money for sell to someone but you wouldn't purchase be able to make a profit or it's priced too high and not even worth considering. It just takes years of experience in the business. But I'll keep watching and learning!
The wierd cat is everything lol. I love it
Love the Weirdo Cat!
The painting is gauche pronounced with an “ah”. It is an opaque watercolor.
Cat is AMAZING!!!💗
Painting is gorgeous...
I have to go listen to the cure's pictures of you after watching today. I know we aren't supposed to notice the background music but I always try to make it out, rebel that I am. I enjoyed the shopping, as always! See u tomorrow!!
That cat is the ultimate weird piece. It is wondeful!
Love your videos.
That cat sculpture reminds me of voodoo art i saw in New Orleans. The print at the last is a Norman Rockwell from around 1927. The title is Outward Bound.
That cat is so fabulous. I wonder what other beauties that artist has made!!
The painting is Looking on the Sea. This scene is part of Norman Rockwell Collectors plate series. It is endearing!
Hi Jocelyn. Your right the cat was wired but nice at the same time.
Jocelyn people crave weird things when pregnant. You crave weird cat sculptures lol🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have one of those vases by Dutch Schultz I bought in Norfolk Virginia. I’ve never seen another. Mine is purple. So funny because I’m taking it to sell next week. I have a better idea what to ask for 😂
Dude! Saw the title and had to see.. OMG lol does it have GOLD teeth?!? Wild! 😂😂😂
I am loving your videos, especially the ones that show sold and how much it brought. I dont know if you already have one, if not I would love to see where or how you price your auctions. Do you put exactly what you paid for the item in hopes that it will be bid up? But if it doesn't wouldnt you would lose money bc of eBay fees? Thanks!
That cat is amazing.
Gauche is a type paint medium :)
@teresat5496

Pronounce it gwash, its sort of like thick watercolors.
Creepy tintype! Weird Cheshire Cat! Halloween vibes!
Gouache is an egg based opaque watercolor or tempura paint , I believe originally made with gum.
Love the little box. That is the most weirdest pottery I have ever seen. Did you get that? If you did we need to know how much you get for him.Love the vanity set😍, the picture of the man and woman
14:16. I would say that that piece is Arts & Crafts
Gouche paint is a kind of water colour but with deeper and stronher pigment
Gouache is a type of paint kind of like watercolour but opaque.
I think goache(sp?) is a technique where they take a print and add paintbrush texture to the surface…might want to google it to be sure (I can’t find it cuz of the spelling thing)…
At 6:05 you use a purse to hold a vase. Depending on the price of that 30s-40s box purse that could be a good flip.
He will frown at it. :) But, its so you.! It's unusual & cool ! I think you should keep it ! .
I love the little weirdos. ❤️
Gouache paint is an artist quality opaque watercolour similar to poster paint or paint that children use.
In 1995 i was in an antique store and after having had two boys I was pregnant and had just found out I was having a girl. I was so excited! I found an antique picture of a little girl. I thought to myself that my daughter might look like her. I kid you not it was uncanny! I hung it it her nursery then bedroom and all her life people thought it was her. When she got older she said it creeped her out because she that the little girl was dead and that it looked so much like her.
Goush painting is like water color but a little thicker
That cat is for Halloween!
That yellow pitcher with the lid is from Utility Glass Works, made for only 9 years in the early 1900s. Comps are close to $600 online. I have one myself posted online for $300, in a different style.

Also glows very bright with a black light!
Baccarat does has done a crystal box very similar for years in different versions
Guache a type of watercolour. Whereas normal watercolour is translucent, guache is opaque.
You ought to keep the cat for your new house. The colors match the photo you got at Goodwill
I picked up an oil painting of birds by a Floridian artist Carol Swayze, with the similar amateur beginner skill level of that cat. I thought maybe someone would find the bright colours fun and the effort admirable but so far, reactions have been laughter followed by comparison with grade school art. I'm sure the cat will sell though.
Again crazy cat lady, weird but interesting! Blessed and safe days!
Gauche is similar to watercolors but is opaque.
I have several of these and all 3 types of pictures, or 4 types. I forget which. I do know the difference, but need to price them to sell.
Gouache is an opaic watercolor.
