Earlier this year I gutted many beautiful magazines and kept the images that really spoke to me. I wasn’t sure how I was going to use them but you have shown exactly what to did to give them a little something extra. Thank you for this, Kathleen.

It's beautiful!! I love how you used the steel wool to distress the edges- I'll definitely be trying that!! What is the name of the white stuff you put a little bit of on the picture with your finger and then stuck the paper with the words on top of it? It sounded like you said gessel???? Lol.... I'm not sure what you called it but it looks beautiful and I'd love to get some of it for my projects, I just don't know what it's called. TIA 🥰

Thank you for watching! The white stuff is Gesso - it's like a thick acrylic paint. Artists use it most commonly to prime paper and other foundations before further painting.
