@@stravensongorglyforgly3427 he said yes because it's a common word to use anywhere, that doesn't mean anything. and, again, I said that is chinese and not masaka because if u listen he isn't even saying "masaka" he is saying something closer to "Osaka" even and yes people have the internet but then giving people shit they cant read and they have to waste their time translating it, perhaps just because the commenter wants to look cool and smart by typing in a different language, is also the factor that leads to videos that have Fahrenheit and inches have a bunch of people complaining in the comments that they don't get what inches and Fahrenheit are because the majority of people just dont. meanwhile, majority of people here speak english and cannot read hiragana Edit: tl;dr, typing it as masaka in hiragana is literally pointless here while also being a hindrance just so they look cooler

Also, how much of a waste of time is it to look up a phrase in a foreign language? If someone learns something new from it, that's a positive. Plus, if someone feels like it would be a waste of time to look it up, they're not gonna look it up; they're not obligated to search. And maybe he wasn't trying to look cool, maybe he's a native speaker.
