Good video, Jayvee! I appreciate CDPR's commitment to fixing and finishing the game (the Phantom Liberty expansion even gives alternate endings to the main story), but I also have no desire to go back and play it again. I played it on PC when it released, and had minimal bugs compared to everyone else. I also had a "perfect" play through where things I wanted to see and happen... Happened. So, replaying it seems like it will ruin that experience. It's silly, I know, and new experiences are what RPGs are all about. But I just can't seem to make myself want to play Cyberpunk again... Which is a shame given it's even better now. Maybe some day...

I bought this game three months ago on sale, couldn’t get into it at first and left it. Now I’m near the end of the story and I love it. The gunplay is super satisfying, great characters with a good story and a great atmosphere. Excited to get the dlc soon 🤞

I'm so happy that you and other people could try the finished version of the game. I tried it like 1 year ago, liked it but didn't really love it. I think I'd have loved the phantom liberty 2.1 version. Gonna replay it when I next get time ofc.

Only about 5 hours in and there’s so many names, slang and jargon thrown at me I have no idea who or what the fuck is going on😂 does this start to tie up and make more sense as you progress?

Turned out to be such an amazing game. I feel sorry for the kids that don't play it cause they convinced themselves it can't be fixed lol.

I pre-ordered this game and stuck with it. I didn't get the crazy problems that everyone else was getting. I did get the pop ins and other stuff. The only major one I ran into was driving and hitting an invisible wall then falling thru the map, then the game shut itself off.

Even 1.6 on an old console is amazing

I was lucky: I feel in love with this game at launch. I didn't have the issues so many others did (mid range PC with some luck, I guess). 500 hours or so. Then 2.0 droppred, and now I'm at about 750 and just started my first run of Phantom Liberty. Favorite game world, hands down, personally speaking.

I was running a 3090 3700x at the time. the only bugs i really saw were the people falling out of the sky, or people floating off into the the sky. how is that being blind??? me and that collin guy got lucky that for whatever reason, our games didn't break.

I still get a good chuckle whenever I remember Idris Elba looking straight at the camera and saying "The game is fixed". 😂

The great thing about 2077, is it's foundation was always solid. Amazing writing, story, acting, music, setting, art design. It was all the technical aspects that needed more time in the oven and was admittedly rushed by management to make a arbitrary deadline. Now however, they re-did or added most of what they initially envisioned. And that's amazing and kudo's to them for putting their $ where their mouth was. (according to reports they spend ~125 million to fix it since launch) Now is it perfect? Of course not. But is pretty close to what they envisioned I would guess. And I'll take close. I feel they as a company learned some valuable lessons the hard way. And I don't foresee them making them again with CP2. Doing so would be business suicide, thus fairly confidant CP2 will cook as long as it needs to unlike 2077. Which is a win for us gamers. 2077 is amazing and I have no doubt in its current state will be on a lot of top 20 CRPG of all time lists going forward.

THIS. I had a blast playing when it released and i was lucky and didn’t have any bugs i mean minor bugs like some lighting glitches and trees bending but i rarely saw them. The game is amazing am waiting to upgrade my pc so i can fully enjoy the experience

@@JustGaming24 As a PC gamer yes I had some bugs on release. Mostly GFX and AI issues. Immersive breaking but didn't hit one game breaking bug. And in ~60 hours of play my first game had one CTD. So overall yes certainly buggy wasn't unplayable by any means, for me at least. I understand consoles was a whole other situation. Then again you were pretty naive to think your 8+ yr old console was going to run fine with a game that was shown in the demo. that's like expecting a PC from 2012 was going to run 2077 without issues.

It's one of the few games where I hate to admit that I was wrong about it, but at the same time, I love that I still gave it one more chance. CDPR really went all out on the final stretch.

what a game,finished it 7 times and still manages to pull me back. right now playing my 8th playthrough and i'm 110H in the game,and with 2.1 the game is something more entertaining than before

I got cyberpunk a bit after it released but out of worry ive only just got into the bulk of the story, my poor character went untouched for around a year and a half and now i am loving it, great video!

Another great video Jay! Made me buy the game again on the XBX, i had it on ps4 and wasn't cool cause had a lot of bug that stucked my story, but i enjoyed! Excited to replay this game after 2/3 years Cheers from Brazil

Great updates! Will that be enough to lure me in for a 3rd playthrough? Probably, mostlyy because Crimson Desert has been delayed for a whole year, along with the Phantom Liberty DLC that I have yet to play yet. I'll probably just continue the game from my 2nd playthrough and still enjoy all the added content and fixes. Yeah, I'll go with that!

playing it for the first time i started my first playthrough 2 weeks ago and im like 60 something hours in and still didnt beat it yet im glad i waited years to play this game and got to experience it without those crazy bugs

Turns out it actually got even more than I wanted.

I honestly can't get enough of this game now that they've updated it. I played it all the way through before the update and now completed the DLC with the update. Well to be fair I'm holding off on the very last mission so that I can do all the side quests. That said this is now one of my all-time favorite games.

Loving the vid Jay! Also, just so you know, at 4:15 you actually can play them! All of the songs were made for the purpose of being in cyberpunk so there's no copyrighted songs at all :) Great vid man.

Started playing this game on PC around the time patch 1.2 was released. No serious bugs happened to me then, but I've completed the main story rather quickly (less than 30 hours) and left it. With patch 2.0 and DLC coming out, I've started it from scratch, as a new character, and now I'm playing it much more thoroughly. I'm 70 hours in and doing every side mission I can.

Got it when xbox had the double sale with both Base game and DLC a few weeks ago... Clocked up to 60 hours playtime now and not disappointed. It's like I'm playing the RDR2 story again, really got me trying in the 'completionist' department.

Played it on release, had a lot of problems, stopped playing the game. Resumed playing recently after buying the dlc, and im currently 100% stuck due to the phone bug. Literally can't do anything at this point, because the game is acting as if i was in the middle of a phone call (cant make dialog choices, cant fast travel, cant save, cant skip time). I want to love the game, but having these type of game-breaking issues this far on, is a joke, and should be a priority for them to fix it.

I initially got the game when it first came out and was not able to load it so got a refund (older PC) and then bought it again during a sale since I rebuilt my rig. I didnt know what was not released at launch so its interesting to see your video show me what was added right before I bought the game (I literally bought it a day after the patch). Thanks for the video!

Last time i played this was on launch, finished the game on the suicide route cuz i was in a bad place back then, never thought id toucht the game again. I loved it fir not pulling punches for me. My best friend bought phantom liberty for me. Guess its time to return to NC for a second wind, chooms.

_All_ the ingredients were already there for a truly phenomenal game, it’s just a pity it took an extra couple of years to fit it all together. Still, this game turned out to be fucking fantastic. I beat it way back then, and then again after Phantom Liberty. This should have won one of those awards on Steam.

Bought it 2 days ago. Playing for the first time I can't believe what I was missing. This game was way better than I thought It would be. Glad I waited until the game was finished.

The ultimate edition was 50% off on Steam last month, I'm glad I waited so long before purchasing it Was one of the best games I played in 2023

Jayvee fought all his intrusive thoughts to not look down while Judy was in the shower. Whatever CDPR is making next, I hope they learned from this, tbh I still have a sour taste in my mouth with them.

bro i love this game but yeah im still getting those fps drops in the base game in some areas where there's too many people or major area of the game on my ps5, other than that i totally love it!

I beat it when it first launched on ps5. Now that I just built my first pc I bought it again with the dlc for a price I couldn't pass up on epic game store. Looking forward to seeing the differences.

I always brushed it off after the failed launched. I shortly gave it a go a few years back on xbox one x. I found the disc again last week and tried it again on the series x with the latest patches minus PL. An absolutely fucking incredible experience. The narrative, the storytelling, the NPCs. Wow. Yes graphically it is a pretty game but really the characters and their stories we experience in game just makes this game an experience that is a cut above the rest.

You can turn royalty free music on in the menus for streaming and for KZread videos I'm sure

The races become trivial if you have a cyberdeck… just detonate every other car in the race lmao E brake is almost as effective if you don’t have the detonation unlocked

It isn't the final update. They already confirmed that they are still working on the official FSR3 implementation.

I pre-ordered this game and played it on PS4. I had a blast, didn't encounter any game changing bugs during my playthroughs. I even finished the game multiple times on console. Then bought the game again on Steam. I stopped playing it just before the expansion released, because I think my laptop would be cooked lmao. Will definitely get the expansion once I get my PC.

I just started my first main playthrough this week after waiting for years.

they also added as a bit of a homage to ken block an upgraded ford mustang with 1400 horsepower and the number 43 on it

I knew they would make it right in the end. A troubled road but worth it.

over 50 hours on it here, it's significantly better performance/less bugs from 1.06 I tried, that 2.1 is awesome. You said it's "final complete" but I still think it could use a few updates here and there, one moment my game almost broke, none of my key inputs work, just the Numpad when I pressed everything, dunno if that was intentional in a story cutscene, meaning pause/esc didn't work, but it has better auto saves in case it did so .. lol. Car door frame open animation didn't happen like 5+ times when it was supposed to and in a side quest looking for someone in a public gathering, one kid was T-posed with sodas floating on her hands, so... xd it was funny but it shows I guess there's room for improvement, that could make a good easter egg maybe. that's all the issues I noticed, seamless exprience with all that time, some/many games including this before these days, were constant issues. I can see there being a 3.0 as a true final for years.

I came back to this game after dropping it in like 2021 and finished it in 2022 and I loved every second of it, it was a game I've experienced like never before i don't think there's any game with the same atmosphere and crisp futuristic gunplay like cyberpunk. However, I do feel sad for the people who are blinded by the "promises made" or how long the game took to be completely finished, instead of realizing how big of a comeback this game was in gaming history, and are just completely taking out all of their blind hatred out onto the game as if they 'dont fall for lying companies' and all that mumbo jumbo.

I remember being so hyped for it. 2020 came and I told everyone "it will be the best game ever" I didnt finally feel it until i got a ps5 in 2021 but even then it was just okay for me. When i play it on my series x i think about how night city is the most beautiful city ive ever seen and to me it is way better than it was on launch. If you have a next gen console play this game. Even the music is so fucking good. I love starfield and i hope it gets its treatment like cyberpunk did. This cyberpunk feels like a whole new game to what it was when it launched.

@@jrcastro823 cyberpunk was already good for people with pc. Most had no complaints. So it was ready. It just got massive updates to make it better. Just like starfield can get updates even though it was shipped out already.

Melee finishers still don't work which is quite annoying. Is it that hard for them to fix this?

I've been playing it for the first time on my Xbox series X and I'm having a blast. Not bad for a developer that's only made a couple of games and is kind of small.

I just wish they gave us ng+. I spent hours working on a cool build that I can only use one a few gigs and jobs.

I beat the main story for the first time today, it was amazing.

I have made the pre order, in the first day I refunded and tried not to hear from it again. Upgraded my pc recently and decided to give a second chance. While I didn’t love the story (besides phantom liberty that was awesome) I had a really great time and It kinda was almost what I expected 4 years ago.

This game deserved so many more DLCs, but hopefully there is a lot more for the sequel.

Cars can’t knock my character down. I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or something to do with the attributes but every time a car rams into my character it doesn’t knock my character down it just takes away health.

This is by far the most annoying bug after 2.1. Can't believe it's taking them this long to send a quick patch for that.

Cyberpunk ncart metro reminds me of real life Singapore mrt train.

There’s still a LOT to be fixed, melee finishers and sonic shock is broken for example.

Currently replaying (didn't finish the first time on 1.7 or something). ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT! The last time I was so immersed in a game and its world must have been Fallout 4. Was CDPR's release strategy unacceptable? Yes, absolutely. This is not and should never be the way to release a product, ever! But they turned this around in a way I would not have expected. The story and the world building has been pretty amazing from the get-go, but now that all the pieces are actually in place, it's so much fun to dive into Night City.

I haven't seen it when I played this mission but this Johnny Silverman looks a lot like Adam Sandler haha

It's still pretty buggy and I've had three crashes on my newest playthrough. Hopefully they have one more patch, 2.0 was fine, but 2.1 caused a bunch of issues.

Thay might hust be a you issue. Ive encountered damn near none of the bugs you mentioned.

2.02 is the final update, which will be released soon

i have not played cyberpunk since launch & seeing the state of the game right now & the fact that they are not updating it anymore i think im going to pick back up from my first save if it's still available because i kinda enjoyed the game before i liked the story but it was just so unplayable & it had so many issues :/

its actually not finished yet. 2.2 hasnt arrived yet and there may be hotfixes after that
