You forgot that the entire Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series is just a bunch of Roguelikes. Sorry, but this is _not_ the first Pokémon Roguelike.

I'll admit I originally found you from Alpharad, but I gotta say I'm VERY happy that I did. Your content is well editted and paced, and you're pretty funny too. Can't wait to see more content from you.

Dude a Steelix was what helped me win my run of that game haha. Don't doubt it. Also as late game comes you might want to have something that can remove terrains and change the weather to something that's less favorable for the enemy.

All my starters sucked and I was stuck with tangela my first run. Then I caught a gligar in the same run and was able to catch a shiny gligar with great IVS in the safari zone that I changed to have an adamant nature and poison heal. He and a Naganadel I caught that I gave modest nature and a choice scarf were absolute HARD solos in my run. Even when I upped the difficulty lol. Only other mon I tried (so far) that came close was mega aerydactyl

As a man who played a lot of roglieks gut-wrenching to Cakewalk is pretty accurate😂

Kidd should play Pokémon Reborn. He’ll love the challenge, characters and story. Truly a legendary game.

Mystery Dungeon isn’t even a true rogue like. The dungeons are procedurally generated but that’s only one aspect of the genre.

It's actually a Rouge lite, which is a really cute way to say "game with Rouge like elements" I was really delighted when I found out that was a term.

For the millionth time, Pokemon mystery dungeon is a DUNGEON CRAWLER, not a roguelike

To be clear, there's been a pokemon roguelike for 18 years (17 if you are considering the japanese releases) That being Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. So if you never played a rogue-like beyond this one, I would VERY MUCH recommend the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. They got an awesome story.

@@gameplanetanimations It's a common impression! But rouge likes, true ones, have perma death and usually have minimal meta-progression. PMD has both meta-progression between dungeons and no perma-death. This makes PMD a rogue-lite, I believe.

I always forget how much tamer the game is at first and on normal. No full team gym leaders with legendaries and mega evos in the 2nd gym. This romhack is stupid fun though. Could throw away dozens of hour again if I booted it back up probably.

Well, there technically always has been Pokémon Rougelikes. Well kinda, they're called Pokémon mystery dungeon.

I actually used hello fresh for awhile and it's so expensive it's not worth it. The food is good, and it's very convenient, but it would have been cheaper to eat a 20$ fast food meal every day...

He didn't really talk about any of the rouge like elements. With each badge progression you unlock stuff at the base, so you can go into each attempt stronger and better prepared.

Unfortunately, you prioritized a pokémon for being shiny and that's very common in this game, 1% if I'm correct

Dark is also special in Gen 3 but that knock off from the Machamp is still doing alot. He's also playing the extended version meaning he's playing with later generation mechanics like phys/spec split
