That's cool you lead worship! It's true that when serving in the church, it can easily become a chore. At the church I used to go to, I was running the slides for worship. At the church I now go to, I'm running the camera for the live stream. Panning and zooming took a little practice but I caught on fast and now I love doing it. It's fun. I actually never in my life thought I would be joining another church but I guess I could say God works in mysterious ways. There was a Baptist church, Midway Baptist, that me and my parents went to since I was a child. They always had a Sunday evening service but when the pandemic hit, they stopped having the evening services and only had a morning service. I started doing a Google search for any churches with an evening service and I found Gracepoint Church. They normally only have two morning services but they were having a summer time thing where they would have one evening service outside in the parking lot and I thought I would check it out. I loved it! The praise band was singing some songs I've never heard before and I loved every one of them! Very cool music! The pastor's sermon was good also. I kept going to that church on Sunday evenings until it was the time of year when it got dark too early and they couldn't do it outside and they went back to the morning services. I continued going to Midway on Sunday morning even when Gracepoint was having the evening services. After Gracepoint stopped the evening service I just went to Midway in the morning and that was it. I don't know how to explain it but while going to Midway after that, I felt something drawing me back to Gracepoint but I dismissed it as just a feeling I had at the time. The following summer there was a time when I saw on the website that Gracepoint church is once again having the evening services and I started going to those. As the summer was coming to a close and Gracepoint was about to resume the normal morning services inside, I felt more strongly than ever that God was calling me to be a part of that church. When they went back to the morning services inside, I went to the 11am service there for the first time and I've been going to Gracepoint ever since. Sorry for such a long comment. I know that's a lot to read.

Thank your for sharing your thoughts about the good and the bad situations in your life. Your ability to play songs after hearing them is wonderful and a great gift of God. I think the key of living a Christian life is the relationship to God. Everything you do, do it for God in the first place. I'm asking God what He has planed for my life and if I think God wants me to do something I check this by praying again and reading the bible. God given gifts are hints what you can do. I know that I need God in every moment in my life. HE is my power and my wisdom. If I do something out of my own strength (without God) ends normally not good. First time without Google translation. Bad english, sorry for that.

Maybe you could investigate the way different churches do worship/service? I just saw a video hearing from a Lutheran theologian and they do things very different from my Baptist church, so see how they do things, maybe Catholics and Eastern Orthodox? I don't know, just a thought 😛
