@@JoaoPedro-ki7ct All of the people in the video are actors. There were green panels on the floor instead of the monitors. These IPS monitors: 1) Are 2D, not 3D, so it wouldn't fool anyone 2) IPS monitors don't look realistic, they have a -strong glare- backlight bleed.

There is a good chunk of people who think it's real so... Not everyone seems to know.

Usually by changing your position, the vanishing point of that virtual perspective should change. Here, the perspective matches the camera angle but not the point of view of the person and that makes this thing rather unrealistic. It was made so it will look good on the video only.

i noticed that the frame and monitors were about three inches thick, but the elevator floor was not raised when they got in. those were very strong screens, did they really easily support 200 pounds? also nobody grabbed the elevator railing, i know i would have.

I used to watch this when i was younger

I like the one where they bring people in for a job interview, with a photorealistic picture of the surrounding area on a TV made to look like a window behind the interviewer. Mid interview the office starts to shake, and a meteor is shown heading towards them. They have to be convinced they're ok, and it's so sad when you see the crushing realization that there is no job being offered was the *real* prank

Also the timing between the plates falling shouldn't be long, just long enough to make it look realistic and fool them at the same time, maybe a second or two is enough, accompany that with great sound effects and this would be a hilarious prank.

Something not right when the camera is above that is how it is and should look to be convincing to passengers but when the camera cuts to a side angle like at 1:17 you can see the “elevator shaft” at an angle which would only be possible if there was a lot of space below the floor and the tv’s were far away for depth perception but when they are installing them that’s not true. Which bring me to my conclusion that it is faked and those aren’t actually there. Oh and at 1:26 the railing is reflecting green showing that they are reacting to sound and staring at a green floor.

No. If the screens were real, they would have been showing the perspective the passengers have. Instead, the screens "changed" every time the camera angle did.

They should do more of these

There's a chromakey on the elevator floor, not screens. LG does such bad things that they don't use them themselves.

Reminds me of the old TV show Candid Camera. This would have been a good stunt to play on that show.

I love how the perspective of the elevator shaft matches every camera view.

Somehow it is recommended to me 11 years later and I can't complain 😂

It was recorded when I was only 7 years old. I am watching this video at the age of 16. It doesn't matter. I have really enjoyed it😊.

If this was real, the screens wouldn't show that perspective of the shaft in 1:03 since they're screens they should be showing a pov looking straight down, not at an angle. Am I the only person to realize this?

Nope. It’s fake. If you look at the edges around people’s feet, it just doesn’t look right. Almost certainly a green screen with actors.

obviously it's fake in the sense that theyre actors in on the prank, but i dont get why going through the trouble to hire actors and install a green screen is easier than hire actors and install monitors under them. like just do it for real its barely more complicated
