I survived one of the worst Hurricanes in Hawaii, back in the late 90's. I was 9 months pregnant at the time. I was in a very long line to get gas. Well, the military walked by and saw I was pregnant. So, they brought the gas to me and filled my tank. So, I was able to get out of the long line. I certainly appreciated their help. They had to walk back and forth many times to fill my tank!

I went outside while the Hurricane eye was above. It was so calm inside the eye, but weird to hear the winds going around. Then Iniki hit us twice. It reversed and hit us a second time. I saw carports collapse on cars, I saw roofs fly by. It was very scary. But we did have a place to go underground but no doors! I was also helped by the Red Cross. They provided me with a bunch of MRE's. I was grateful.

As Jami always says. “That’s why woman live longer.”

Buddy …you in trouble! Don’t be foolish with your health! Listen to your wife! She LOVES You! She and the Kiddos need you to be there…healthy!

Buddy, the worry and dismay in poor Steph’s voice was palpable!!! You really scared her!! We don’t know what exactly happened but it seems you had BAD HEATSTROKE!! No joke at all!!! Norma here. I understand trying to get certain things done before the rain. However, other things can wait. Buddy, don’t push yourself beyond your limits. So glad that Stephanie watches out for you. Jake and Ben have been all over Morrow Hill helping anyone who needs help…..much the same way that you two jump right in to help others. The Morrow family is always there for each other. Each generation has set a great example for the younger family members.

Jake Ben & LE are like an energizer bunny. They're hopping from one farm to another. Just wherever they are needed. Paw Paw & GiGi have the best grandkids when it comes to helping out the family. Heck, they wouldn't have to be family & they still would help if there was a need. Bree amazes me at what all she accomplishes with 2 little ones. I just love how all the family pitches in and helps each other.

A cooling cloth, wet cloth around the neck & over the head helps regulate body heat. Rejoice that you all got alot accomplished. Hydrate, rest & eat

All the wood is in pawpaws pasture near his barn. If Cus knows his woods and has the chainsaws to break down the large pieces of wood, he could go get it. The wood has to age, I’m not an expert but I’m sure it needs to be totally dried out.

I hate that anyone has to go through any storm or natural disaster, been through quite a bit of hurricanes myself, but to be torn from a well deserved vacation sucks big time. On the plus side, everyone is safe & you still have your home. I guess I don't need to tell you how lucky you are with the heat exhaustion. I had no clue, drove from Tx to La & not long after I was in the hospital for 5 days because I was dehydrated & had heatstroke. This can damage your heart. Taking care of yourself is a small thing to do to be able to see your boys grow up & flourish & to grow old with Steph. Yard looks much better now. 👩‍🦳🙏💜

Everyone working in the heat needs a Cold Snap! It’s like a shammy. Makes a huge difference. Look at any hardware store or big box stores! Please try them. Works better than just a towel!❤❤❤

This morning on Jakes video he was rounding up Ben and Le. I'm happy to see they all showed up. Your yard is looking so good. Very good job. All the limbs and stuff by the bees looks really nice too. Buddy your doing to much and yes you should of went to the hospital. They could of got you all hydrated. I am glad the tarps are working out great no ,ears from the rain you just got. You guys are getting things done with all your hard work. It's going to be all cleaned up and look like your home should be or use to be.
