Update: Fixed the issue, turns out all I had to do was update the bios of the board. We are good to go baby! Edit: Also for those asking why I didn’t lower the motherboard to make room for the top rad, simple answer is I can’t, there wouldnt be enough room on the bottom for me to pass the GPU cables through, it’s already a tight fit as is.

You left it in ATX configuration, if you reconfigure the case for 5 PCI-E slots then you can relocate the spare PCI-E covers from the bottom to the top of the case and shift the motherboard tray and IO plate down to allow more room for the radiator and fans.

This wouldn’t work because there’s only one certain alignment for the IO rectangle (the usb, Ethernet, integrated display stop of the motherboard)

Yo Ed! Just letting you know, when you ran into the problem of not being able to put the dual 120 rad on the top of the case, you technically can fit the rad there( you can even put a triple 120 rad). The brown box that had the motherboard extension has brackets or pieces for the back of the case for you to lower the motherboard in the case to have more space to fit a dual or triple rad up top. I'm writing this as I'm watching the video and I'm not sure you clarified it yet but just a head up. Keep up the good work, love the videos! Edit: My apologies he said it wouldn’t fit because if Ed did lower the motherboard down he wouldn’t have enough room to fit the gpu cables through.

i have the same case and was thinking about this the whole time, why didn't he just replaced PCI slots the back of the case so it could fit. i don't think he read the manual.

Well since the graphic card is so thicc I dont think it will fit if he moved the motherboard down. Buuuutttt if he gonna water cooled the gpu eventually then moving everythinh down would be perfect I think

Wow, love the warts and all approach to your videos. You make me feel good about my builds. Def Bios issues and you should always RTFM when it comes to motherboards and cases. You had plenty of room for a top RAD and fans if you really were using a Micro ATX motherboard. That's why the case is called DYNAMIC as it can be configured in a slew of ways.

I had the same problem using the same motherboard and a 5600x. It was the motherboard which needed a bios update but I didn't have any other cpu for am4. Thank God for Amazon's no questions asked return policy on the 3600. Happy birthday btw
