Just to be clear, that "EXE laugh" is actually a laugh from the main boss character in Final Fantasy VI, Kefka.

I kept replaying the team chaotix one because it was so funny at the end where Charmy was “I saved Espio! ….and I get eaten by a shark.” then Charmy laughing at Sonic throwing his thing of popcorn at Knuckles!!!!

Anyone think the reason for Mario’s abuse is because he possibly takes plumbing contracts from Eggman.

The joke at the beginning was in Sonic 2 Multiplayer, there is a power-up where you and the other player swap places. Sonic and Tails swapped places, so that’s why Sonic fell out of the sky.

The joke is that when sonic hit the monitor it acted like a switch monitor which switches players places to each others and tails was in the air Sonic spawned in the air.

In case you don't know, the "Sonic.exe laugh" is an sfx from Final Fantasy VI. It's actually called the Kefka laugh but the origins don't seem to matter now.

The joke is that in sonic 2 multiplayer there’s a switch button, so Incase your about to come in last place you can find a computer to jump on and it will switch your place with the other players
