Found you! 6th in the C main in stock touring. Not bad...searched it out on the ROAR website
The Tamiya FF01 Civic was my first RC car when I was 10 years old 26 years ago. My first buggy was the Losi XXCR. So many good memories.
Super props for rocking Rossi livery. 🤙
Absolutely LOVE this video! Bringing me back to my old HPI RS4 days with all those touring car bodies!!!
Love those old Tamiyas! Thanks for doing this video.
Watching this video reveals why you are so smooth with your driving style, growing up driving on-road cars taught you this. Great video!
Super cool Ryan! I like the paint scheme story about keeping the red flames scheme going from your younger days. I’m teaching my son the hobby and can only hope he appreciates everything as much as you do.
Great video Ryan! Love the fact that you and your dad shared this hobby with such passion! Great story about all of these unique rc cars, rock on bro!
Even your old paint jobs are remarkably clean. A lot of my old bodies have lots of areas where everything was going great except for one or two spots where the paint bled through the tape . . . Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your memories especially those with your father. I also have just gotten back into it after several years. I enjoy watching all your videos.
I also really enjoyed the history behind each car, especially the Tamiya cars with your dad making you learn on that FWD civic hatch to help you improve your drving. So COOL.
Ryan that was awesome to see and even cooler that you remember the history of each one. Thanks for showing them off! Your Mom’s JrxT just might be my favorite
This was a cool to hear the history of the cars we see on that shelf. I find it funny you raced a FF02 against the 4wd cars too that’s also how I learned to maintain corner speed and throttle control even after I officially moved on to 4wd open TC with a Kyosho TF2 I continued to run my FF02 in stock TC. I moved to a TC3 after the TF2 and ran that off and on until very recently.
Awesome to see the history of your cars, brings back memories of racing in the late 80's and 90's I'm getting back into it after 25+ years away, things have changed so much. Great watching your channel, keep up the easy to follow inspirational vids.
Just got into the hobby. Found my dads original rt10t and when I saw the one you had my eyes lit up. Man I love these things. Awesome video and collection
Really cool Ryan !!! It's awesome to see all the road rash from battles of years gone by thanks for sharing these treasures with us !!!
Would be super cool to see some of your childhood vehicle running!
Really enjoyed this video. Focused parking lot practice is a great tip. I too have many of my Father's cars and my own older race cars. Seeing this makes me wish I had saved more of them.
Bro holy crap!! That paint scheme that you never ran was one of, if not THE SICKEST I've ever seen!! Wow man, you inspire me to step it up when I get a clear for my 1/8 8ight e 4.0!!!
The Tamiya idemitsu motion mugen EG6 was my first RC car in the 90’s! I loved that thing. Awesome vid. That Jaccs Accord takes the cake though, rad.
I personally love that variant of the current scheme! The extra yellow around the front window really pops!
Love the car in the thumbnail. Commented on it’s color scheme a while back, nice to finally get a closer look
Wow those bodies were soo cool to look at. Thanks for sharing!! 👍🏽🤟🏼😀😀
Kinwald buggy and that TAO3 take me back to my youth (class of '02) thanks for dusting these off mate!!
Great video! Brought back a lot of memories of the cars I have had through the years.
Ace video, I liked the relax stroll through your old stuff
Thank you Ryan. Building my first real truck has taken me away from rc a bit. I’ve also gotten an opportunity to start racing a 1st gen rx7 in the SCCA. I have a lot of work ahead of myself to get there still and my rusty old Chevy pickup still needs more work. And now this virus has struck the world. So rc has really been at a standstill for me for a while. I know it will continue to be for a bit longer, but this was what I needed to get my brain back into the mindset of rc, which I think you can understand. I liked watching the video of your brother racing as well. I wish the rest of my family had the burning passion for racing like I do, or at least a little bit of interest. It’s been hard to pave my own way and I have a lot of asphalt left to lay down. I know I’ll almost definitely never be able to race pro 4 unlimited short course, or even the pro lite class, but I think I’ve found a way into roadcourse. I went to my first roadcourse race ever a couple weekends ago. I was crew for my boss/mentor who raced in EP, IT7R, and an enduro in the IT7R car. I was at VIR which is about an hour away from me and boy, do I love that place. That was the last race they were able to hold before closing for the virus, which has me worried about my GPA, grandparents, and my summer. Tomorrow, after I fix a chainsaw(my main job is at a small engine/lawnmower repair shop. My boss races roadcourse and we work on the race cars when we aren’t servicing lawn equipment), I’m going to rebuild my ebuggy. I had come home from my last outdoor race months ago and life just threw itself at me. I think I have some serious polishing work to do to the hinge pins since it’s been hanging... dirty with the Carolina clay. When I started rc racing, it was a goal of mine to finally, someday, pull up to the track in my own vehicle. I love my mom, but I just wanted to arrive to a race and pit from the back of my pickup bed. At the time, I wasn’t sure what truck I’d buy. Now, I know. I look forward to the moment the racers see me arrive in my old rusty Chevrolet that I’ve worked so hard for and put so much work into and learned so many lessons from. Again, I can’t drive it anywhere far yet. It won’t pass inspection, I have no idea how much gas is in the tank or how fast I’m going, I’m halfway finished fully fabricating a new exhaust for it(the factory one had 1/8 buggy tire size rust holes in it and if the muffler had a name it would be Napoleon Blownaparte), I need to fix the ac,... you get it. I’m crossing my fingers that I won’t need to rebuild the transmission soon. Wow. I sure did write a lot. Hope you enjoy reading this. I hope you’re safe and have plenty of tp... or reasonable alternatives:)
Do u think u will ever switch to Team Associated 👍nice video good job
Great collection of cars and bodies 👍 Wish I could paint that well. I used to race the AE RC18R until I couldn't get parts for it anymore. That was a fun class even though I'm more of an off-road racer. I'm fairly new to the hobby so I'm always learning watching your channel. In fact I need to go back and watch your last live stream a few more time to help me understand setups better. If you ever want to read setups sheets again I would be very interested. Thanks for all the great content and be safe!!
Nice collection love the versatility of the collection. Funny the memories we tie in with them which for me is a fun part. Really enjoyed the content different. I did a lot of pan racing in late 90s My son was exposed then now loves them. Thanks for sharing like the way u did it. Till the next one . Primo
I just got to pull my old stuff out of my mom’s basement last week! RC10 gold pan with the truck conversion, Losi jrx2, original gold pan rc10, and my dads jrx2 that has some old funky panel van conversion body on it. I’m not racing rc with my 5&7 year old and we have acquired about 30+ more lately! Keep the hobby alive and great vids dude!

Sorry.. “now I’m racing w my kids”
Hey, just want to say I absolutely love your videos! I’ve learned a lot and you’ve inspired me to try and race myself! Thank you so much
That JRXT is awesome!!!! Thanks for the cool video!!! Love the vintage stuff :)
That an awesome story. Thank you... That was a lot of learning
lol dame when you mentioned the TC3 you took it back for me to like 1999 i remember a few of my friends in the Bronx buying them i was to young and did not want to deal with electric . i ended up buying an RTR3 And an Yokomo GT4 best time ever now im getting back into it again . keep up the videos.
Love the 80s theme colors on the rude rat. Might have to steal those!
So cool to see the Micro RS4 bodies. I raced these with my dad when I was a teenager. By far the most fun RC racing I think I've ever done, also was the last models I raced with my dad as he never got into off-road racing. We still fly and race FPV drones together though, so its all good!
Been in the hobby since 1987 and honestly have not kept 1 body or kit. Kudos to you for keeping mostly everything I unfortunately suffer from” can’t stand to much shit around me” syndrome, hence why I always sell or giveaway my old stuff

I am in the same boat as you. It is better to be like us. Take great photos and videos of your cars to stay in your memory and improve the value you can get from the "old stuff".

JP Jacobsen not better, just different.
The body that u held up with the silver on the back. Very good looking paint scheme👍
Good vid Ryan. Just recently found your channel and have had a great time watching. Love the old Tamiya collection especially the David Jun TA03F Pro. I love my FF03 Pro. I just recently got a TA02SW w/Porsche 911 GT2 and am looking forward to building it with my son. Or we could build my original TLR 22 which has been sitting in it's original box for the past 9 years... All I can say in my own defense is Life. Keep up the good work, stay safe, and have fun.
Great video mate, loved your moms car. Love the fact your family also had a passion for the rc industry. I have been a long time into rc but am only recently going to start racing my Serpent 977e and also off road. Cant wait, any tips would also be great!
Nice collection of body mate👍👍 Love Tamiya collection you have👍
Great little history lesson!! Keep up the good work.😁
That flamed white never mounted touring car was bad ass. I’d definitely be trying a scheme like that again if I was you. That looks amazing
Excellent video mate, I love old r/c and I didn't realise that you did your own bodies! They look fricken sweet.
Ryan, I highly appreciate the Alfa Romeo 155 body on the Tamiya TA03f David Jun. You have exquisite taste! Amazing collection of bodies!
Great video again pal. The Stratus brings back memories!
I love it the accord!!! Had a exr and scrapped it when I was 18
That was pretty cool Ryan I had no idea your mom and dad both raced professionally!
Yeah, I have been in a hook for the last days with your videos and this recent upload it is just perfect!
Really liked this video! Thank you for sharing
Loved it. Wish I still had my xx4
Haha! I raced a JRX PRO-SE in middle through high school. I had the TA02 Alfa Romeo back then too, I wish I had that one still. 🤙🏼🏁💯
While watching the intro I had no idea this was almost 29 minutes. You weren't lying about ALOT of bodies lol. Besides that, I think you're actually a more talented painter than you give yourself credit for, but that's my attitude towards things. If I thought I was the best, maybe I wouldn't keep trying to get better always. Cool collection
Never clicked on a new post so fast.. keep up the great work with the content!
David Jun TA03F is indeed special! Nice collection 👍🏻
YEAHHH! A new video! And do you remember the HPI Hellfire SS? It was a race kit monster truck!
Cool! Love the ff civic and the Alfas 😁👍🏻
Great collection!👍👍👍
NICE CARS n BODIES. GREAT VIDEO RY...... I MUST BE YOUR DADS AGE CUZ I REMBER THE OLD ONES WHEN THEY CAME OUT RC10 ETC. MY VERY 1st RC WAS IN TAMIYA SUBARU BRAT / FROG WAY BACK IN 1985🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
The Dodge Stratus body was very popular! I had one on my TC5 back when.
Awesome vid! Lots of cool stuff!
Cool vid! I had a gold tub rc10, hip micro rs4 and the tc3!!! Do you race toiring cars anymore? Would love to see some touring car vids! Keep up the good work!
Man I like that Mark Martin car, looks sick I was going to paint a body for my slash of Joey Logano’s car
Cool collection
Cheers ladd I think it's great how you act like these rc cars are real I totally dig it ...I fly Quads and I can appreciate where you are ....Cheers I really enjoyed and subscribed
Beautiful cars 👌
Like the scheme on the Civic.
This made me feel old. My first cars were rc10 gold pan and a midnight pumpkin. Raced with my dad for a few years building a nice collection of cars till my dad passed and my step mom sold all of our cars..and even our trophies..out from under me. Just started racing again at ss hobbies in the 2wd buggy and stadium truck class. Wanted to start back in the 4wd buggy or etruggy class but right as I got back into things found out my kidneys had failed and had heart failure. So now being on disability I could not afford those classes. Maybe some day...
That was fantastic.
HPI rs4 was my first nitro car at 12, lol. They dominated the parking lot I raced at. I rocked the Nissan body.
Nice video, Ryan! Some cool cars with a story, I love it 🙂 Ain’t that red F1 a Tamiya?
Great episode
Awesome vid!
Hey Ryan, I want to see you start doing more on road again! Noticing you were in the C main is still absolutely fantastic!
Loved the video!!!
✌🏻😎🏴Thats one nice collection Ryan. I can really see its evolution and I loved the back story’s. Tell your mum I love her truck. There should be more paint schemes with flowers 😁. You did say to ask questions & hopefully you won’t mind me asking all of these questions because I have lots of them 😂. Can you thin out liquid mask? Can you spray it out of an airbrush without any problems? When you use an airbrush to spray on liquid mask, do you thin it out with something ? Or use a different needle size or pressure ? & what do you use to clean the liquid mask out of your airbrush? Im having a question overload so I will keep it to those For now 😂
So much fun down at speed line.
Takes me back, haven't raced in a long time, however last car I raced I still have which is a losi xx kinwald edition, this was when I was sponsored by trinity/losi. Also raced a hpi rs4 for a bit of fun
Cool to see that you US guys knows all of ouer europen race cars as well.👍
Is minnreg still even open ty for the insight of the racing you did plus with your dad ty awesome
Awesome Ryan I like your story and great history real nice looking paint jobs. Just to let you know I like watching your videos and I am always looking to learn so thanks for all the information you share with everyone... just to let you know I am an old RC guy and have been racing 40+years..... but can always looking to learn ......::::::: #
Love those.
I rarely watch KZread videos that have more than 10 minutes duration, very cool, I enjoy these 28 minutes. But, where is your nitro car?
I have 2 losi xxx’s a sct and a buggy. They are awesome
Also I don't know how much longer they're going to be out the xv 01s have that front motor placement with 4wd belt drive.
Love the content and what you do for the hobby. Getting my b74 tomorrow any setup build suggestions or tips? It is my first buggy, I run mostly short course.
Hey man! Love your videos! Have you ever considered making one about how to get into rc racing? Especially on a budget? I think it would be a ton of fun but I don't really want to spend $1000 on stuff for a stadium truck when I'm just starting and don't know a whole lot yet.
Awesome vid, will you run those onroad one day ?
Awesome schemes! Do you think your years of on-road racing has helped you with off-road racing?
I got good news for you the TA03 is back as a re-release on the street version of the Porsche GT1. So I hope you get it.
Nice Job b!
Alfa Romeo was my first touring-racing body as well. Sat on a Losi XXX-S
hey ryan nice vid as always, that is Tamiya TRF103 Ferrari 312T3 F104W 1/10 F1 Chassis Kit comes up on a google search of old tamiya f1 kits cheers
Freakin loved those Alfa Romeo body’s on my gas touring car… those and the Mazda 6
Martin was my favorite nascar driver too
Awesome video. Do you have any rc cars that arent meant for racing? Like traxxas , arrma etc.
The F1 car seems to be another Tamiya kit, maybe an f103 or an f102. Either way, it looks pretty spectacular for its age and the Ferrari 312t is a classic!
We ran the HPI micro TC at Dave and Busters in Dolphin Mall with Mumba motors and brushless esc's
The Tamiya Mini Cooper class was one of the most competitive at my local track HTUSA Frederick md
