I know they are breed too but that's just another way to earn money from innocent beings. They still should live in their own habitat where they belong. Chandler Farmer I disliked because I know many animals become sad after they realize they are not alive We see the happiness but the confusion and sadness comes later You can start to see the fact the bird expects them to preen his head This is sad. Ok for him because he has a human friend so gets lots of attention But imagine a cat in a shelter. They become so so sad when their toys they realize are just toys. Animals need real friends not fake friends

Thank you especially for the last part of the video description. Many people get pets just to entertain themselves and many dont have the right responsibility. The worst are those who buy pets for their kids to be their toys. I have 2 cockatiels and I know exactly what you mean in that comment. But they are worth it... Such wonderful birds!

I guess normal cockatiels would sing and whistle at things they want to attract as a mate. Alex just happens to honk instead. He will sit and honk at nothing in particular in his cage too, so I think he just enjoys it.

I watched this with my conure. I've never heard her imitate a sound before, but she honked back at him four times! It's about the only noise she's ever made other than grunting and screaming. I'm so proud. She also leaned in to preen him when he leaned down ^-^ it was so cute.

I can't get enough of Alex! He is quite the little character. Always so bubbly and happy, it's contagious. He makes me happy!

Hi Alex and friends. Me and my budgie found you a couple weeks ago and we can’t stop watching your videos. In fact Alex, the budgie, has started to honk. He sees his friend at least once a week and I stay home with him at least 20 hours a day. He loves running on my iPad and overloading my iPad so it powers off. He gets excited when I switch the iPad on because it means he will see his friends.
